Really takes time to make sure the ground and all maintenance issues are attended to in a timely fashion. Most of the apartments here are all remodeled and they are just beautiful. No critter issues either. I was upset because there were a lot of bad reviews about Mystic Creek and I guarantee anyone reading this that there are no issues here. My apartment faces the Metro Parks and its wonderful to see all the wild life. This is a very good living experience!!

I have seen many negative reviews of Mystic Creek over the last years and feel it is time for an honest update. Our current manager Jackie is hard working and has turned this apt.complex into a good living experience. I disliked the impersonal, rigid, almost threatening management style at my former residence. I prefer the friendly, relaxed attitude here at Mystic Creek. All apt. complexes have some problems but Jackie does her best to address residents' issues and goes out of her way to be helpful and make life easier for residents. The majority of apartments here have been gutted and renovated with stylish quality along with many overall upgrades. The halls were recently recarpeted, repainted and decorated in a lovely contemporary style and the elevator refurbished. The laundry rooms were also updated. The parking lot was repaved and a new roof put on bldg. A (one of two blogs.) The rent is fair according to market pricing. The drug problems vanished with dealers banished! I love the scenic location/beauty next to Big Creek-Metroparks. I am looking forward to signing another long term lease.

My fiancé and I lived at hidden cove for over 2 years. We lived in an apartment that had a hole in…read morethe ceiling for a year begging the landlord to repair it, even called the health department out for it. Finally we were promised a new remodeled apartment on January 1st. Rent was increased to $750 and the amenities such as a dishwasher and bathtub were removed from the remodeled suites. Come the end of December, we asked the manager Eli multiple times when we could move in, at this time he informed us the apartment would not be ready and we would have to wait another month to move. Once February came we got the okay to move and while we were moving the maintenance men were still working on the apartment. When we got settled I decided to look into the apartment and see if it was completed. Sadly it was not, I should have known better but I tried to give the new owner a chance. As I was checking my "remodeled" apartment I noticed the doors did not match the coloring of the walls, the bathroom had paint peeling, closets doors not on, the toilet was leaking at the seam, there was black mold under the kitchen sink and the sink leaked in both the kitchen and bathroom (all of which I have time stamped photos of). My fiancé and I contacted Eli and we were told that there were more important things needing to be done at that time. Black mold isn't that important apparently. ‍ After a few days of trying to contact the maintenance men, we finally got them to come over, but it was not until after 6pm because according to maintenance that's the time he can see current tenants. He looked under my sink at the black mold and decided to put wooden boards over it. Not clean it, not anything. Once it got to be spring time and it started raining we realized that we had a leak in our dining room ceiling. Now I mentioned above that we moved from an older apartment in this community due to having a leaky ceiling, only to move to a "remodeled" suite that had the same issue. We were told by property manager Eli that there were more important things going on with the property and our ceiling would have to wait, all while this was happening they were putting new flooring in the lobby's of the apartments. At this point frustration had set in and we had no choice but to look into escrow. We told the property manager about us possibly putting rent into escrow and he proceeded to tell us he will evict us with no notice. After months of frustration and things not being repaired, I decided to move. We told the manager we were moving and he told us to be out within 3 days. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU AVOID HIDDEN COVE. There are bug infestations, there are constant drug deals in the parking lots, and the disorganization and unprofessionalism of the management is sickening.

Not at all spoken, by the residents, as a "senior home or facility," but instead they call it a community. In fact, they would like to refer to it as Cloverleaf Communities. The apartments are spacious, quiet and the residents are friendly and sweet as pie. They offer events in the community room, celebrate monthly birthdays, have a family room, offer billiards, hair salon and shuttle for those who are no longer driving. You think senior living and shoot to an age range of 80 years and older, no. I met a women in her 60's who was just tired of the yard work! I met a man in his 70's who works out at the gym three times a day, hunts and enjoys the food in the area. The biggest perk, the residents will say, is the dish washer, stainless steal appliances and the fact that they can send their grand kids home at the end of a long day. I laughed. My mom does the same. If you are in the area, do a tour. Now, I was only there for work, but I told all my new friends that I would be renting out an apartment asap and would see them soon, and I'm only 32! ((Don't tell my son or husband.))

This "Senior Apartment Complex" is marketed to the senior citizens but offer no senior amenities. No car-ports (even though they publicize they have them). No shoveling sidewalks (public area); no shoveling of ramps from sidewalk to parking lot for those with wheelchairs/scooters; trash room doors that are so heavy they can't be opened by most tenants in a wheelchair/scooter holding a bag. One elevator that goes out with the electricity which leave those again with wheelchairs/scooters, unable to get to their apartment. Smelly halls that when asked of management, you get "it is what it is". Landscapers that blow grass onto the patios of ground floor tenants and then have to be raced down (in a wheelchair/scooter) to have them blow off the patio. A maintenance person who says he will do work then never shows and found sleeping in the parking lot. A property manager that never leaves her desk and just gives lip service (vs. personal service). Tip of the iceberg people! Don't go! I wouldn't send my enemies here (then again..)

To start, the office staff gets a bad rap. I don't thinking they deserve anything negative. The office staff including the manager Karen have always been kind and understanding with us. It is one of those you get what you give situations. I approached them with kindness and they gave the same back. Then we move into the people who live in the buildings. Gross. Simple as that. There are so many nasty smells and stains due to adults who are unable to clean after themselves. They also break things then complain when it doesn't work. Not all were gross but a bunch were. Maintenance... When we first moved in we had John! He was amazing!! He was honest, kind and fixed things correctly. Unfortunately, the guys who took over are terrible. My AC unit leaked and soaked my carpet and one guy "fixed it". About a week later it leaked again and soaked again. Keep in mind they have to dry between this time. I then had a blower (twice) in my apartment wasting my electric bill because they didn't fix it the correct way. The second guy who came fixed the AC but tried to tell my husband the padding was dry. I was at work and told my husband to double check. It was soaked. He almost left the soaked padding to cause mold and mildew. It was like this all the time with things with that department. The one guy used to bang on my door when he came. WHY???? I even said was that even necessary? That was an example how they do not respect your home. The management company Millennium. I will personally never recommend anyone live on their properties. They don't care about anything. $$$$ is all you are to them. In the middle of the pandemic when people lost their jobs they gave no assistance. I was lucky to have my job still but there were others who didn't. They also during the pandemic raised the cost of the washer and dryer to $2 for no reason. They refuse to put working cameras in the buildings despite property damage and theft. I mean I could go on with issues with their operations. When I moved out I was charged around $700 for (mostly for carpet). I accepted the charges and paid for them. However Millennium could give a little longer then 10 days for people who might not have had the money. (AGAIN IT IS A PANDEMIC!!!) They didn't charge me for anything that was not justifiable. I cleaned the crap out of my apartment and forgot to take out the towel holder and a couple things I forgot I got charged for. Biggest positive is the size. Apartment was super spacious. Biggest downfall is maintenance and management.

I had to throw away most of my new kitchen appliances (that I specifically bought for my new apartment) due to being covered in roaches. I am absolutely disgusted that this place would put me and my children in this type of situation. I am too scared to cook in this disgusting kitchen , Too scared to brush my teeth because I don't know if a roach was on my toothbrush, and too scared to sleep because the thought of roaches crawling on me and my children frightens me. We are also getting bit by something in the apartment and are not sure if it is bed bugs or flees. I am 100% taking legal action if I do not get my deposit and first months rent back. The cleaning company also did not clean under any of the appliances in the kitchen leaving dirt, bugs, and garbage under all of them. If that isn't enough , I had to buy two laundry cards because the first one that I bought did not work. After putting $20 on the laundry card, I used both washers to wash my clothes and when I went to use the two driers, one was not working at all so I used only one. I had to pay 3 times to try to dry my clothes, but the third time I realized that the drier had somehow managed to burn a hole in my brand new bed set and leave the rest of my clothes soaking wet. I am absolutely devastated by this experience and hope that we not only get refunded everything that we have paid, but I hope that nobody else gets put in this situation as well.

I have lived in many apartments and never had such high deposits, overbearing policies and lack of services to show for it. The management has an "us vs them" mentality and do not see people as humans but as $$ to be managed. Some of these good reviews are literally written by Foxmoor employees. Nobody picks up their dog poop and people throw food all around the lawn which my dog picks up and could choke on. The power goes out at least once a month for an hour or more at a time. The apartments themselves are nice and maintenance is timely, but it's not worth being treated like you are a criminal paying $1k/month to live there. The apartments may be larger in size than most but the quality is so cheap! The paint was peeling off the walls, the knobs fell off of all of the bathroom mirror storage, the toilet paper roll holders fell off the walls and the appliances were awful. The furnace always smelled when running it. We are also pretty sure there was black mold which they did nothing about or cared. We paid over $1000 a month and this place is so not worth it. There are no amenities except for a poor tennis court that no one uses. It says pet friendly but ha! Forget getting your deposit back. They said they use one vendor so even one pee accident on the carpet means they will charge you about $2000 to replace it ALL regardless if there's not pee in every room. They scammed us out of thousands of dollars and its really sad. Please do yourself a favor and don't move here! The cops are called all the time for disturbances especially on the weekends. Its also always loud and noisy. Kids across the hall always slamming doors or leaving the building door propped open.
