I found a table and put my bag down, and then got a beer and a frankfurter, the food selection was actually quite good, plus they were switching from breakfast to lunch. I also had a fresh pretzel, which was a nice touch. I will definitely come back next time I am at DUS.

It has clear bright lights and no decoration at all. Furthermore the food selection is very limited, when I arrived here around dinner time on a Monday evening they had warm wiener-style sausages with plastic pouches of no brand mustard and ketchup. So why 3 stars: first of all they have (unlimited) Becks-beer both on tap and bottle, plus another local beer. Secondly, they have free wifi at decent speed and thirdly, it is free for star alliance frequent flyers so why complain? Nevertheless, after roaming around for a bit, I decided to leave and eat at a (paying) restaurant in the terminal.
