There is a good selection of books; mostly fiction, but there is also a decent non fiction area, a section for teenage fiction and a children's area with child suitable comfy chairs and tables for reading. The computer facilities are also good, with many stations found around the library, some seated, some standing. All have access to the internet, and to the library catalogue. Library sales also often have some good bargains of books still in reasonable condition. The layout of the library can be be seen as quite confusing as the genres of books are grouped broadly, and then alphabetically within these sections, but if you are looking for a specific book this means it can take quite a long time to find if you're uncertain exactly which section it is in.

Led by college principal Dr John Guy, who is an extremely dedicated and passionate individual that is a credit to the insitution. The college itself has a number of buildings, most of them very modern, light and spacious and they are currently building a new multi storey building to house Art and Science subjects. There are several computer suites at the college, including the Dell suite and library which contains a large number of dell computers. The staff are all highly trained and passionate, giving the highest quality of A level education to students. This is reflected in their extremely high results at AS and A2. There are a number of cafés and eating areas at the college, including Café Direct which focuses on selling fair trade products, Time Out which sells hot main meals at lunch times, and Shades which is on the other side of the campus and serves a range of pasta and noodle dishes, and sandwiches. The students here are encouraged to flourish both independently within their studies and socially within the many clubs, sports and societies available. This really is a sixth form college with a university feel.

There's an excellent (although, sadly, under-used) child-friendly section with colourful chairs, toys and a play rug. However, it would benefit from an outside book dropbox (even if it's just outside the doors and inside the Carnival complex). Its not somewhere I would normally think of taking the kids for an afternoon out but on their insistance I did and we all had a lot of fun. And it has saved me a fortune not having to buy so many books anymore! :)

Fleet library is a good size. Fleet Library is located in the Harlington Centre. There is a cafe in the Harlington Centre just outside the library. I have always found the staff friendly and helpful. The library has a relaxed atmosphere, and there are tables and sofas you can use. They also now sell soft drinks, so I guess the old rule about not drinking in libraries doesn't apply any more. The library also puts on events/workshops, particularly for children and teens.

visited here today for the first time in about 5 years. not greatly impressed. apart from a room…read morefull of busy computers it really hasn't changed or updated at all. i was left at the enquiry desk for an age before a woman decided to help me. she told me someone would be over shortly. 15 mins later i was still standing waiting. finally someone did see what i wanted. apart from the computer users there was only one other person visiting so there really was no excuse!
