On this particular visit they were having a nothing over fifty dollars sale, I ended up buying a nice cool cotton blouse reduced from $89.95 to $50.00, so happy with my purchase as I don't buy easily any more. Besides, when I left home in the morning it was on the cool side and by the time mid morning came round the temperature increased and I was boiling, so it was good timing to find the blouse. One prominent brand name stocked at Sorbet and some of you may be familiar with the brand is called Lavender Road. If not, it does contain various styles and colour combinations for the mature casual woman but there are pieces which are suitable for any age group. There are several stores located Australia wide and I noticed in their latest brochure there is a competition to win a trip to the Whitsundays in Queensland! They were previously all factory outlet stores but have morphed into a perculiar mix of dubious fashion and useful but inconsistently themed retailers. Lula Blu is a little gem in the rough on this busy road linking the city and the South Eastern Freeway. Perfect for even the most discerning of Bowerbirds it specialises in handbags, jewellery and a few selected items of clothing. The immense selection of affordable, interesting and unique jewellery is what interests me most. The wonderful badges and quirky purses make perfect gifts or little indulgences for your own collection. The bags are for the most part very pretty and inexpensive but I have an aversion to non-leather accessories of this type, so sadly they are not for me. The clothes are also VERY affordable and appealing for women around the 20 to 50 mark. This collection is extended on next door in Lula Tu with the welcome addition of shoes! Be sure to check out these two little gems if you're in the area.

Despite being located across the road from their fashion competitors TuYu, Nina Stephanie does a good trade and there is always customers in the store having a browse. They stock labels such as Bluejuice, Paradisco, Angel Biba and Sweetacacia and have a great range of casual and formal wear. The store is spacious and clean and everything is laid out well so it can be easily perused. There are a couple of large change rooms (I hate pokey ones) and the staff are helpful if you need any assistance. They also have a permanent sale rack where items are alternated and they are actually not all junk like most sale racks are; it is a good first port of call to look for a bargain. Most dresses are around $60-90 mark.

From men's and ladies, designer clothing, big range of smart footwear, lots of fashion accessories, kitchen ware, China, glass wear, books and the range just goes on. Every thing is well displayed, in a very presentable fashion, many items are new, yet the prices are extremely affordable. If you have never been to this Op Shop in my opinion it is well worth a visit.

Lula Tu seems to stock a delightful selection of on trend clothing at around $10 less than the same brands retail for elsewhere. The shoe selection also, whilst not huge has a strong propensity to get me in trouble, it always seems to appeal to my taste and demand to be purchased in order to co-ordinate with the new frock I will inevitably acquire on any given visit. Most of the clothing ranges between casual and cocktail and the place also features a few of the accesorising delights which take the spotlight next door in Lula Tu's sister store Lula Blu.

They had a great deal of this Penny Anne label which I've never heard of because I'm label name retarded, but I really liked the range. There was a shelf of gorgeous little rings that looked like coins: unfortunately they were all too big for my skinny digits and I had to pass. The sales assistant was lovely and said they've only been open for two months: I'll definitely be adding this one to my browse list. My only qualm was the sizing: almost everything appeared to be sizes 8 and 10. Considering the average Aussie bird is a sexy 12 or 14, this leaves a lot of banging babes trying to squeeze into a 10. Although the curvier ladies could probably purchase a ring? I picked up a cute little lacy top for forty bucks and left a happy chappy. New fan.

I'll start by saying that a business called "Whistles" is going to receive 5-stars simply because of the fact that I am a testosterone-filled male. But good heavens, this small shop racks up the sexiest dresses that are priced from $389 (for an amazing blue dress) to over $1000 for the most expensive black dress at the front (whattup beautiful girl....how you doin'?) ... shall I go on? There is usually one left for the best grabs...but if you are lucky enough to find it you'll be the envy of all customers for those precious, precious dresses (more than couple will ask you, "Where did you get that fine dress of yours that you're wearing?! Geez!"). Basically, apart from Rundle Street, Regent Arcade is another place full of "simply the best, better than all the rest!" fashion. Plus, the -sophisticated speaking staff are helpful, attentive and will not snob you off, topping off one of the best days I've ever had, largely thanks to the many beautiful Adelaide women I have seen previously today. So. So Sexy. Yes.

Now this is the place to spend some money worthy of the designer label price tag, it's an investment plus the friendly and experienced staff know just what you need to wear for any occasion. Now it's not like you get invited to formal parties or have engagements to attend at Government House - well 'you' might - every weekend so who you gonna call...After Dark Boutique. These gowns come in a variety of styles, shapes, sizes and price tags but again for designer clothes in the formal wear arena this is a different kettle of fish compared to the other designers as you've got something absolutely beautiful to show for your purchase. The clothes are sourced from all over the world which also includes Australian designers and if you're looking for something a little cheaper there is a 1/2 price rack most times to have a rummage. The shop is like a warehouse and I love the decorative ceiling lights.
