I have been attending this church since I moved to the Queen Creek area, in August of 2022. The…read morechurch team is very friendly, inviting, and there is something for everyone here. They recently expanded on the property with their new building, as attendance has continued to increase. I think people get the wrong idea about a church when part of the message includes tithing, which reveals the true believers from the posers, as we are to give with an open heart. Even though it is a recurring message here at this church, they are never hostile or pushy about it. The new building was funded through the church, a body of believers, and was navigated through much economic turmoil, i.e. banks rejecting loans or attending church-goers' giving being reduced for any number of reasons. I think that says a lot about God's power and how his Holy Spirit is working at this church. There have been many victories along the way! It is BY FAR one of the most alive churches I have had the privilege of being a part of, even though I am not currently in a serving role. For me, one of the most uplifting parts to my soul is hearing biblically based songs being sung by the church, young and old alike, and feeling the Holy Spirit pull me closer to God with every word that I sing. Give this church a chance. You won't regret it!

"My family and I visited LifePoint Church recently, seeking a new church home where we could…read moreworship and grow in faith. During our visit, an incident occurred involving my son-in-law and granddaughter in the restroom facilities, which led to a public confrontation with church leadership. We were deeply hurt and disappointed by the way the situation was handled, and felt dismissed and unwelcome by the church's response. While we understand the church's policies, the lack of compassion and understanding shown in that moment, and in the subsequent communication, was disheartening. We believe that a truly Christ-like response would prioritize grace, empathy, and seeking to understand, especially when dealing with families and children. Our prayer is that LifePoint Church will reflect on this experience and consider how to better demonstrate the love and welcoming spirit of Christ to all who walk through its doors. We pray for wisdom and discernment for the leadership as they navigate these situations in the future." -I do predict a response with blame shifting, lying and gaslighting as I see in prior responses.

They have no family bathroom so he took her to the womens to avoid her seeing something she shouldn't at the urinals in the mens. Then in the middle of service Mike Shamburg approached my husband and says "Take her to the mens next time" my husband said no she is a little girl and doesn't belong in the mens room. We tried to discuss this with them and were just laughed at by Mike. This was our first and obviously last sunday there. This church is horrible. Its also so hot in there you will be miserable. From the…read morebreathtaking churches and beautiful icons to the meticulously landscaped acres of peaceful grounds, every part of the monastery is absolutely stunning and serene. One of the most surreal and meaningful experiences was visiting the tomb of Agios Ephraim and having the opportunity to pray next to him. It was incredibly moving and something I'll never forget. Be sure to plan ahead for the dress code. Men must wear long pants, long-sleeve shirts, and fully covered feet. Women should wear a head scarf covering their hair, long skirts or dresses, long sleeves, and nothing too tight or form-fitting. If you don't have the appropriate clothing, the monastery has garments available to borrow, which is very helpful. The grounds are gorgeous, and there are so many special touches throughout the property. Be sure to stop for a refreshing Greek vegan freddo cappuccino and their fresh ginger lemonade! The monastery store also has beautiful icons, along with freshly picked and dried fruits and nuts from the trees grown right on the property. A truly peaceful, beautiful, and unforgettable experience. If you're in Arizona, this is absolutely worth visiting.

Friendly people and I attended until one Sunday when I was very disturbed by a particular sermon that I viewed in a series about touchy subjects. At the end of the sermon the pastor claimed that the Bible never said that homosexuality was a sin. Semantics, because the act is clearly described in the Old and New Testaments and punishment resulted. In an age where inclusiveness is considered progress, Paul's advice for believers to stand their ground regarding the Gospel seems much more appropriate...Peaceful coexistence yes, approval no.
