I was welcomed with open arms by the most loving caring people I have ever met. I am attending regular since the first Sunday. The people are wonderful helpful and really care. The one who gave the invite is now my best friend she helps me so much I couldn't get along without her. The pastor is wonderful and always has a beautiful service that seems to hit home every Sunday. The praise and worship team are wonderful never leave feeling empty. As far as I am concerned you could not find a more loving caring Church. AMEN

Everyone seemed engrossed in important conversations and not in ministering or welcoming visitors. I can see how the reception would be very disappointing for new Christians or those seeking to know more about Christ. In fact if you fall into either of these groups (new Christians or seeking to know more about Christ), please ask someone you know, who is a Christian for church recommendations. Visit those churches firsts, and if you still want to visit this church then go. I don't want you to be disappointed with religion from the start. Well, after being there for about 15 minutes, we were finally greeted by a guy who told us that no one said a word to him when he first came to the church, so he felt like he should come welcome us. He told us many months went passed before he decided to stand up and tell the congregation that he was there. (I'm assuming he did this during the designated time in the worship service.) What is that? Get this. We sat a row away from one deacon and three rows away from another--we didn't find this out until near the end of the service when the deacons and staff were called to the pulpit to be prayed for (church transitioned today to a new team). Neither of these guys approach us when the congregation was asked to say, "Hello to someone near you." Wow. Is this a demonstration of the second greatest commandment? Unfortunately, there are a lot of churches out there like this. Churches like this would probably ignore Jesus if he came visiting. I'm giving this church three stars because of the lone Christian that did come to greet us.

At each entry there was 4 coffee pots as well as 8 coffee pots inside the sanctuary. Not to mention there is an espresso machine in the main foyer as well . If you can't live without caffeine that's called an addiction. Hard to listen/respect a pastor who is sitting down and leaning on the podium while reading the Bible. My family left 30 mins into service considering the lack of respect surrounding us. Been going to church my entire life and this place needs to actually read the word of God and what it means to show respect, honor, reverence to the house of God!! WAYS WE SHOULD RESPECT THE HOUSE OF GOD There is an old saying that says, "Don't tell me you love me, but show me that you love me." God doesn't just want us to tell Him that we love Him but God wants us to show Him that we love Him. God doesn't just want lip service but life service. (I. John 3:18), "My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth." How do we show respect for the house of God? By observing proper church etiquette. Etiquette is the customary rules for good manners, conduct, or behavior in a polite society. Church etiquette is the customary rules for conduct and behavior in the house of God. Etiquette is a word that we use to describe people who behave well at all times and in all places and treat others with respect. Etiquette in the church shows a reverence for God's presence, a concern for the feelings and well-being of fellow-believers, and others who are in attendance. We should honor the CHURCH BUILDING. Food or beverages should never be brought into the sanctuary and should only be used in the places designated as a way to honor God. We should treat God's property with respect. Do not write in the song books or use them to dispose of gum. The song book racks are not to be used to dispose of trash. WITNESS OF RESPECTING THE HOUSE OF GOD (Hebrews 11:1), "...faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Believers who faithfully attend the house of God and observe proper church etiquette witness (give evidence and proof) of their respect for God, Word of God, and the House of God. Firstly, they give witness of their LOVE FOR THE SAVIOR (Ephesians 5:25c-27), "...Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish." Secondly, they give witness of their LOYALTY TO THE SAINTS (I. Corinthians 12:12, 26), "For as the body is one and hath many members, and all members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it." Thirdly, they give witness of their LIGHT BEFORE THE SINNERS (Matthew 5:16), "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." We need to respect -"to regard with honor; to have a high opinion of; to place a great value upon the house of God." If the house of God is not important to us who are saved and if practicing proper church etiquette is not important to us who are saved, it dishonors God and it is not going to be important to our children or to the lost community around us.

The people who attend are genuine and friendly. The church does not hound you about giving. They have a beautiful campus and NO debt. If you are a young family or in your retired years check them out . They have something for EVERY AGE. They are very active in the community.

Services are 8am for traditional worship (hymns and such) 9:30am and 11:00am for more modern worship. The lead pastor, Pastor Craig is actually pretty interesting, you don't fall asleep listening to him talk. For the modern services, they have a fantastic kid's church available, as well as a great nursery. They have a great coffee stand $2 for coffee or italian soda, and they offer you a free coffee your first time visiting. The youth program is the best that I have saw, 5:30pm every Sunday is Elev8 Youth Group. Middle and high school students welcome. It is lead by Pastor Sherwin, with several other adults volunteering.

It's not your old fashioned church style, they want it to fit into the next generation of youth while maintaining the word of God. the lead pastor is by far one of the best you will meet. For children, you will not find a more inviting group of people working with the youth teaching them about God in a way that is fun and inviting. God has greatly blessed this church.

When my mom was dying and away from her home church in Seattle, I got in touch with this church and pre-arranged for a small family memorial when she died. All seemed OK. Until she died. Then, for no given reason, when I contacted the church to schedule a time for this to happen, it was all of a sudden not something they could accomodate... All we wanted was a brief send-off with a pastor saying a few words and allowing the family to speak. We would have gladly paid whatever fee might be involved and had no need for refreshments or communion or anything other than perhaps a half hour of time. Apparently, too much bother or something. The Baptist church by Cedarhome graciously agreed to help us out, even though my mom was a Lutheran. Sheesh. Reminded me why I give a wide berth to organized religion.

The service was great, it had its sad and tearful moments, but the pastor was skillful at mixing the good times with the bad. The best part was the video montage with acoustic guitar accompaniment and original song by Todd's son-in-law. That was so beautiful and I wish I had a recording of the whole service. I would definitely go back to this church. It felt welcoming and open- something important to me when choosing a church.
