There's a huge variety of menu choices worth exploring, and every choice I've ever had there was delicious. Their margaritas are great as well. The crew there is top notch, taking time to greet you and ask how the family is doing. A long time ago they introduced me to a nice sipping tequila called Don Julio, and it is my go to tequila ever since. Plus it's earned me a nickname of 'Julio' - and in a 'Cheers' TV show fashion, they call out 'Julio' when we come in. It's cozy, friendly, and consistently a great place to go. (Names of the awesome crew there at the time of this writing: Victor, Jorge, Karla, Areli, Gloria, and Don - he hosts on the weekend). Full disclosure: while this is not a place to get Mexican street tacos or empanadas - it's not on their menu - it is a great place for food for a family, couple, or solo.

I usually get food from here because their chili relleno, is 100% delicious! I got that tonight, which was again absolutely delicious! I also got three crunchy tacos and a side of guacamole and chips... here's my issue lol the tacos were salt asf.... The chips were so overcooked, they are brown, almost burnt.... The guacamole even though I know it's 100% fresh, it is, the guacamole visually and actually taste is excellent except for the fact that there's no flavor, it's literally just really fresh onion and avocado in a bowl. It's not that it's not good. It's just not flavored. I'm saying this because I love this restaurant and I'm trying to say this is what's not that great. I won't stop eating here! Because it is delicious I just had a bad night with them tonight

First, the amount of shredded chicken on my Enchiladas Rancheras was extremely sparse. Second there is no bar inside, contradictory to its name. I'm so sorry to all people of Clarksville and Tennessee that think this is West Coast Mexican food…read more San Diego native here, you know where the California burrito and carne asada fries were invented. Tragically, I have to say this place is just a knock off of my beloved Cali Mexican shop. I've had the Breakfast burrito, 10.00 is wild especially when the burrito has excess tortilla double wrapped. That means the burrito was only filled like 75%. When you order carne asada fries in California, the box is filled to the top with cotija and Mexican cheese, here it's only 75% with the tiniest pieces of flavorless carne asada. The fries to carne asada ratio... big thick fries (filler) tiny carna asada meat. Rip off! Carne Asada burrito comes with no queso or crema but the fries do? Errrmmmm ok. Do not get me started on the most pathetic beef "crunchy" taco. In San Diego, they wouldn't dare give you a pre-cut shell; like the grocery store tacos in a box. In Cali they deep fry a fresh corn tortilla to make a crunchy taco and sometimes the whole taco with meat then they put the toppings after. Shame on the people from Cali repping this place . Tbh, you can really only eat a REAL CALIFORNIA BURRITO or in San Diego where it originated. There is so much competition and high expectation there that a place like this could never survive. I donated a star for ambiance.

Our drinks came out very quickly, and our food arrived about 8 minutes after ordering since the restaurant was pretty empty. The atmosphere was very relaxing with dim lighting and natural light coming through the windows. Our server was attentive the entire time and somehow always knew exactly what we needed before we even had to ask. They brought out boxes and the check at the perfect time, and we never felt rushed or awkward. Overall, such a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. We definitely plan on coming back!

Hubby enjoyed his fajitas and loved the chips and salsa. He actually finished two little salsa bowls while we were there. I have an affinity for birria so was excited to see the birria burrito on the menu. However, I really didn't want all of the burrito fillings so was excited when hubby pointed out the "quesabirria" (yep, birria in a quesadilla). The excitement was lessened once I got my food. It was way too cheesy for my tastes. The cheese overpowered the birria. I ended up opening them to just eat the meat and then eating some of the remaining tortilla as if I'd just ordered a cheese quesadilla on the side. I wish I'd looked thru the taco portion of the menu to see if birria was an option. That probably would've suited me better. Since we were child free and the drink menu prices were beyond reasonable, I ordered a skinny coconut margarita. It was tasty and yet there was a bit too much ice. Hubby tried to get a virgin drink but the only option for virgin was daiquiri. Would I stop in here again? Yes!
