They have a large number of foreign Japanese and German vehicles as well as your standard American cars and trucks. Instead of miles and miles of junk cars that should crush Garland offers you vehicles that actually have the parts you're looking for not completely stripped like some other places. So yes, I would highly recommend Garland auto salvage yard

I must say, they probably have one of the best quality in the DFW area. It's been a week and window tinting is just flawless EXCEPT for one part on the driver side where you can see a very SLIGHT opening, but, however, I don't mind it and realize that these people are not machines when they do this type of work. Definitely would come back here again to do work on my tints if I happen to get another car.

Not only just that another friend I have known for a while they stole a pair of his rims and tires 2 months ago. Now is doing a lawsuit on "Moonshadow" Just like their name they do some shady shit in the shadows. They also stole money from a friend named Maka V. 2 years ago and he left a review on yelp. He purchased custom wheels from this place paid in full. Only to be lied to about why the wheels are not ready. He had to track down the manufactor of the wheels only to discover my wheels have been ready for weeks and they manufactors refuses to ship the wheels out because Moonshadow Dallas has not paid anything towards the invoice. So since he paid via zelle he have no choice but to go to court. He had to see why they want you to pay via zelle or cash. He tried talking to owner and he (Chris) refuses to talk or make thing write. Shady business with unprofessional employees, management, and an invisible owner. They take advantage of customers, go back on their word, and does not deliver as promised. If you want to get scammed, then this might be the shit hole youre looking for.

I have been bringing my cars here for over 17 years. They won my business because they are honest…read morewith their customers even when the prognosis is not good. In that time, I have gone through three cars (all with over 200,000 miles on them). In the 17 years I have been going here, here are some of my experiences. 1) They told me flat out that one of my cars was not worth paying to fix. It was at the end of its life (I drive them to death) and they could have had me for an engine replacement... but they told me finding a used car would be a better use of my money. That is honesty that cost them that job... but gained them a lifetime customer. 2) I brought my car 4 years ago in because the MGP dropped quickly, it seemed to be speeding up slower and it was starting to make some light noises. I dropped it off. They took a look at it and told me that nothing was wrong. I am still driving that car and nothing came of this... they were right. 3) Just this year, my car started misfiring. I dropped it off. They said it would be an engine job and (once again) the car may not be worth fixing; drive it till it dies. They then said that they do have a product that would mix with the oil and possibly loosen things up and give the car some extended life. We did it, and the car stopped misfiring enough to get the check engine light to go off and I just passed inspection. It is not fixed, but it didn't cost me an engine job. I am going to drive this thing till the state tells me I can't (or it dies)... almost 300,000 miles now. Since starting to come here, I have recommended this place to friends and family. My father and my mother now bring their cars here... I would not recommend to them, unless this place was the real deal. I have many more experiences, but this is long enough already. Jumping from dishonest mechanic to dishonest mechanic trying to pinch pennies will cost you way more that just paying an reasonably priced honest mechanic. One that will be honest about good news and bad. These people are honest and they will be my mechanic till they decide to retire (or they tell me that they won't work on my solar powered hovercraft).

Bob who is one of the owners has saved me countless dollars by being 100% honest with me! I just had my SUV serviced there last week, the new part failed, but it was 100% under warranty, so they fixed it at no charge! I recommend them 100% Jim Funderburgh

1 star I am posting…read morean additional review because Firestone management has still not provided any meaningful follow-up or resolution regarding my formal complaint, Case #2977465. I filed the complaint on June 12, 2026, and followed up repeatedly. An area manager eventually emailed me, and I provided a detailed written timeline explaining what happened, why I had lost confidence in the Galloway Avenue location, and why I was requesting a refund. Since sending that response, I have not received a substantive decision, status update, or further communication addressing my concerns. My primary complaint is now the administrative handling of the matter. Customers should not have to repeatedly pursue a large company for basic communication after reporting a serious service problem. Even when a company disagrees with a refund request, management should acknowledge the documentation, explain its decision, and provide a clear resolution. The continued lack of follow-up gives the impression that Firestone's complaint process is designed to delay rather than resolve legitimate customer concerns. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Galloway location, and I have serious concerns about Firestone's regional management and customer-service accountability.
