Worst service possible. Called them after my accident to have my car repaired. Followed their instructions and scheduled day and time to drop off my car and get a rental. When I arrived to drop my car off per their instructions I'm told that I can't drop off my car. Then tell me something stupid that I'm supposed to come back. To be honest 1 star is way too much. Negative stars is more appropriate. Let me start by saying the car I brought in for repair is a 2014 Hyundai Sonata. It had around 800 miles on it and was a month old when I brought it to Caliber Collision. My wife accidentally scraped the top of the car along the garage door because the garage door was partially down. The only damage my car had prior to going into this shop was on the exterior. When I picked up the car the seat belt did not work, they offered to take care of it ASAP. No big deal, right?..WRONG! As I'm driving home from shop I notice countless items as listed below; 1. The headliner is rippled and does not look new 2. There are fingerprints on headliner all over from dirty hands when re-installing 3. There is brown marks on both of my visors 4. There are pry marks on some of the interior trim that was removed 5. The driver side seat belt is broken and they are ordering a clip that they broke 6. There is glue from the glass re-install on the paint (rear) 7. It looks like the dent they "removed" may still be there just to the right of antenna. May be the lighting but worth noting. 8. When my wife opened passenger door the door seal fell off. I'm sure the other doors are loose as well. So they take in my car for the second time in order to fix the damage they caused on 04/14/2014 and one thing after another. This piece isn't right...the paint didn't set...the Bondo drifted...the headliner has a factory defect...these are just some of the excuses used. So on Tuesday 05/13/2014 I finally tell them they are done working on my car. The insurance adjuster goes to Caliber Collision and calls my wife to tell her there is a nasty dent in the door now. The new dent looks like it may have been deliberately caused. Keep in mind this car was literally brand new. I have had the car towed out of there to a different shop today 05/15/2014 so the job can get done right and the door dent fixed. All in all I have not had my car for almost 5 weeks...seriously 5 weeks and all the damage they have been working on was caused directly by them. I will never be doing business with this place again nor do I advise anybody else to either. read more

I have a 2012 Chevy cruise and after they return the car to me my trunk don't open nor my sunroof and stated its a shortage no you didn't finish your job and rushed through it just fixing the bump and not doing the whole appraisal on my car they act like they know what they doing. Had my truck brought here in January. Went to Enterprise next door to get a rental because it would take a few days. A few days turned out to be three extra days because Caliber realized they ordered the wrong part. I told them I was not paying for the three extra days of the rental car and they should, due to it being their error. Originally it was cleared. NOW 4 months later the manager told Enterprise they are not paying for the three extra days!!!! Have left two messages for the manager and no return call. Way to treat your customers like garbage and go back on your word. If I do hear from the manager it might change the rating but so far 1 Star. read more

The rear fender wells are missing mounts/plastic rivets to hold secure the rear fender wells to the bumper. I took my car in for repair after it was vandalized at the Roseville Galleria. Jaime was the vehicle repair manager I was assigned. He was friendly, took his time explaining the process, listened to my concerns and kept me up to date on the progress of the repair. I got a call and pictures of my car almost daily. Jaime went above and beyond and I was very pleased on how the car looked when it was finished. It also was done about a half day early. I was able to work with my insurance company right away on the claim because they had an adjuster and estimator on site. They were very accommodating with the time and day I could bring it in. The car was clean when I picked it up. I didn't have to wait around, they got me in and out quickly. I highly recommend this body shop. read more

Someone backed up into the side of my car and dented the back door. Once everything was sorted out, our insurance sent me to this place. I dropped my car off and picked up a rental. About four days later I got a call saying my car was ready. It looked brand new but the smell inside my car seemed like the brain damaging type. When I got home I also discovered a set of keys in my cup holder. It was already too late to call about the keys or about the smell so the next day I called and spoke to a woman about the keys and she was so nonchalant about it that I had to ask to speak to a manager. The guy she put on the phone was not a manager although he did at the moment claim to be one. I took advantage of the moment and also asked about getting the smell out and he told me that it would go away on its own. As far as the keys, he said that they belonged to a car that was there and that the car had to be returned to a customer that day. He asked if I could drop off the keys and I couldn't but I told him that I would be available in the afternoon. It was then that he got abrasive and told me that those keys belonged to a customer and that he needed them immediately. Funny thing is if I had not told him about the keys he would not have known yet he thought he was in the position to be a hard ass. I made arrangements to meet during lunch and I drove to my home so that someone could pick them up. I also noticed that there was a piece from my trunk missing that I figured they lost when they were washing my car or cleaning it out. They told me they'd order the part and call me when they got it. I'm still waiting for the call and it's been a while. Later I spoke to an actual manager about this guy's attitude and he was polite. I had to drive with my windows open for 2 weeks before the smell started to go away. They said it was something that they had to put between the door panel. So the woman that handled taking my car in, taking my information and calling me to pick up my car was very nice. The work done to my car seems good other than the fact that it smelled crazy and that I'm still waiting for that trunk piece. The man I spoke to about the smell and the keys was extremely rude and seems to have an entitlement issue, and the actual manager was polite. I called this place to have to see if they provide courtesy tow set up to have my truck picked up and dropped off to their location to get an estimate on the damages. I was informed they would set up the tow and let me the following morning once it was set up so I could meet the tow driver at my location where the truck was parked. Never got a call back the following morning. Afternoon comes and still haven't received a call, I called the shop and they put me on hold and after several minutes said they would have a tow guy meet me and I should be expecting a call when the driver was 15 mins away. I didn't get a call until the driver was already at the location waiting. I rushed out of work to meet the tow at the shop. My vehicle was there for a whole week while waiting for the estimate and insurance to contact me back. I asked to go look at my vehicle to pick up all my belongings as it was considered totaled loss, however still waiting to decide if I wanted to buy back or let the auction take it. Nice gentlemen led me to the back of the shop where my vehicle was parked, the damaged parts of the vehicle were removed for inspection but I thought it was super petty that they have workers who would go through my coin slot and took all the quarters, dimes, and nickels but left only pennies. But I decided to have my truck towed to another shop, the car wouldn't start. I had to contact their adjuster to go find my battery because they took it and did not leave it with the rest of the parts they removed from the vehicle. So shady. read more

This was the worst auto body repair experience I have ever had. 8 day estimated repair took over 30 days. No communication about progress unless I called after each day they said it would be done. I heard every excuse in the book as to why it wasn't done on time. On final day I was told at 1:30 by the manager my car was done and going to get detailed. He said it would be done at 5pm. I showed up and still had to wait 30 mins for them to bring out my car. A quick vacuum and wash of the exterior doesn't take 3 1/2 hours. Went through repairs so fast I didn't even know what really was fixed. Next day when I had time to look over repairs saw they didn't replace the cracked molding under the bumper. I didn't expect things would go that smoothly but I left my car signed a couple of forms and days later (yes less then a week) my car was back to new! Our RAV4 was backed into by a neighbor. It only took Caliber 2 days to repair the damage. Customer service is very good and Karina kept me informed all alone ng the way. However, the alarm began malfunctioning before I picked up the car. The rep had problems getting the alarm to shut off like I did. This was done after signing the paperwork to release the RAV back to us. The rep/ shop failed QT and I wouldn't give Karina a bad mark for this as communication seems to be the problem from back to the front office. read more

We took our Subaru Outback Impreza here after being hit by a driver who ran a red light and damaged our passenger-side bumper, fender, wheel, tire, and door. A Geico adjuster met with us while Alexander from Caliber examined the car. A rental was provided by Enterprise right next door and the car was repaired within a week. Amazing! That is, until we drove the car the next day and night and noticed a film or residue on the windshield. Some paint work had been done, blending the new parts into the existing paint and such so we assumed that could be the culprit. We contacted Caliber the next day and was told to swing by and ask for Alexander. Now, by no means is this a PRISTINE windshield. There is a previous rock chip we had filled with resin and several other much smaller rock chips from our highway travels over the years. Alexander came out to the car and ran his hand over the driver-side windshield visually examining it as I was explaining the different cleaning materials and tactics I tried on this residue causing a haze over a majority of the windshield. He then excused himself to go grab some steel wool to see if that would remove what I was seeing. A little peeved he didn't examine the whole windshield or even offered to sit in the car and get the perspective of actually driving and looking through the windshield I patiently listened to him explain the miracles of steel wool and how it is doing nothing for the damage to our windshield. He then took this miraculous tool to our back windshield and removed dirt while he explained how a residue on the car would only be found near the repair site because Caliber is only compensated for the damage involved in our claim. This didn't remind him to actually examine the passenger-side windshield what-so-ever. I departed even more frustrated and now armed with my ever so useful wad of steel wool courtesy of Alexander at Caliber. We have contacted our insurance about the damage sustained at this shop and will be submitting a complaint to BAR. read more

Jeep is still not fixed, went to Caliber who has seen the Jeep 3 times. I was told by them I can take it to who ever I wanted, the fourth time. The vehicle was not fixed properly. So after they did not try and find out what it was I took it to a frame and alignment business. Robert at Caliber, now Mike is doing the same thing. Have not heard back from in over a week. Tried to get the vehicle payed for by our insurance company the refused. So Caliber has pushed it to someone else after not properly fixing it in the first place. Caliber texted me and wanted me to do a review on my visit to there shop the day after I got my Jeep back ! Now you have one. Old with new parts don't work together. read more

So it has been almost a year since I took my 2012 RT Challenger into them and had it fixed. Jose had told me the day I picked it up that if thee were any issues with the car to first fill out some satisfaction questionnaire before I called about any issues I might have. I did that and later that day or the next I was looking at the bodywork performed on my car. First off I noticed that my clear-coat was peeling off on the lower part of the drivers side windshield frame on the same side that the damage the front quarter-panel was repaired. I also noticed that the pin holes from where they pulled the dent out were still visible through the paint and wasn't sure if that was normal. I called him and he told me to take pictures and send them to him and he would forward them to his supervisor and someone would call me back, so I did. Well I never heard back from him or anyone at Caliber Collision. It has been almost a year and I had some major family issues going on at the time to deal with over the last year and I had brushed the issue to the back burner to deal with sick parents and just watching them deal with old age and serious health issues that had come up in their advanced ages. They don't live in Sacramento either so that was another 600 mile distance issue as well.I don't blame Jose but I do hold his supervisors accountable for the crappy customer service on their part in not even trying to return my call to deal with my questions concerning a car that I worked very hard to get and strive to keep nice and maintain.
