Brought my vehicle here for repairs. They added 100 miles to my car but did not give specifics as to why. I gave them a bad review on google and a guy called me demanding I remove it. He gave me the run around with lies like it was a clerical error but I doubt it. He wouldn't send me photos of the proof but a cell phone video of the same photos of the after the vehicle was ready which were two same photos. I guess he knew I would check the meta data if he actually sent me the photos. After those lies failed he blamed me for bringing my vehicle in on separate days and putting the mileage on myself, however he failed to realize I only came once to drop my car off. I even asked him to check their security cams if he was so sure I came twice on different days. Ask for Michael B and Randy K to work on your vehicle. It is a Geico express repair shop but they deal with other insurance companies as well. Need a rental? No worries Enterprise is right inside. So it's a three in one shop. Perfect! I Scheduled the appointment and came in. I was greeted by the CSR, she was ready for me when I got there. She gave me my paper work to sign. I gave her my car keys once I was done getting my rental car. Caliber Collision kept me informed all throughout the repairs by sending me texts and giving me phone calls. I received a call from the manager LaChanda that my vehicle was ready ahead of schedule. My vehicle was given back beautifully detailed inside and out! I have just picked up my car from Caliber Collision and have to relate that this was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with any type of establishment! I don't even know where to begin, so to make a very long story short - TRY SOMEWHERE ELSE! I've used Top Gun across the street from here with great success, but my insurance company only gave me this (Caliber Collision) option. I had my catalytic converter stolen and it took Caliber weeks(!) to get it replaced (they eventually sent it to someone else to do the work) and charged over $6000 (!!!) for it. Uncommunicative from start to finish, and outright lying to me many times over. Yelp should give the option for zero stars. read more

All of the employees that helped with my claim were super decent and knowledgeable. I definitely felt comfortable leaving them with my car for the estimated time, and they ended up getting it back to me on a Friday instead of a Monday. I recommend this body shop be avoided. My car had damage to the rear bumper cover and its chrome trim pieces. Geico recommended their Caliber Collision in Rockville so I took the car to there for repair. That was a huge mistake. The paint color did match and they did not replace the damaged trim. They said the trim had pre-existing damage and would not replace them. They called me a liar when I insisted they were not that way prior to the accident. I even showed them a photo taken 6 weeks ago when my son needed a picture of the license plate for a parking permit application. The service adjuster, Shalom and the manager both told me they used the correct factory paint codes. When I asked why they didn't use color matching tools used by most paint shops they told me "we don't do that here". When I asked why they made no effort to blend the clear coat into the adjacent body panels they blamed Geico saying they would not pay them to do that. A quality body shop would have done these things. In summary, they failed to match the paint color, would not repair all of the accident related damage and were very rude. read more

Terrible! They have had my car since November! Once they got the money from my insurance, they stopped working on the car altogether. They are non communicative, they don't give any updates. They lie about the estimates for completion date all the time. This is the worst experience I have ever had. Completely unprofessional and terrible to work with. This is the worst service, first the service advisor was not there but sent some one else with no experience to handle the estimate. I don't even know where to begin on the repair and parts. Caliber Collision in Rockville try to make more money by getting cheap part and without discussion with the owner of the car, went ahead and replaced the part. On top of that I have checked with Safelite which part, laber and HUD calibration is included but Caliber Collision, Rockville charged over $1800 extra. The part is not even certified by CAPA and will void the warranty of your car. Never go to this place again ever. Now I will have to pay for repair myself. I would never recommend this place and in fact I suggest people avoid going here at all costs. read more

You can select the manner and frequency with which to be contacted regarding the status of your car repair. The Geico rental center is on site. They are very polite but very disorganized. I brought my car in for an assessment and they told me they would order the parts, then have me return in 2 weeks when the parts arrived. They said it would take 2 days to repair my side mirror and dent. They didn't order the parts, which I found out when I called to pick up my car. Theydidn't work on it for the first 5 days, and have changed the completion date three times. When I called to complain, they extended the date by 2 more days. It will be 14 days when they expect to finish, but that might get extended again. In the meantime, I am paying $60/day for a car rental. I will not be using them again. read more

Because he knew how to open the trunk on hybrid Toyota whose battery was dead. Charging the battery was not an option because it is in the trunk!) Absolutely the worst car service I have ever received. I took my car in for an estimate two weeks before bringing it in for repair. They told me they had ordered the parts for repair and the repair would take two days. After two weeks, not only had they not begun the repair, the parts had not been ordered. I paid over $1000 for a rental car during this time when I was only supposed to have paid $120 for two days. Do not take your car here for repair. I'm writing this review because I received an email from Caliber asking me to please review them online. My car was stopped and hit by another driver. My insurance company said Caliber was a business partner of theirs and to take it to them, so I did. My car was an old 2002 model, and I was struck in the driver's side door. The car was still driveable, the window still went up and down, big dent and scratches along the side of my car. Caliber writes the estimate and sends it to the insurance company who calls me and tells me they are totaling my car because the amount of the repairs exceeds the value of my car. They have the estimate, I don't. I had to call Caliber to get them to send me a copy of the estimate; whose car is it anyways? I really like my car regardless of how it looks, so I take the option of letting the insurance company total it, then I pay the salvage value, and then I pay for the repairs. The money was so close that I told them I'd be getting all the repairs done and covering the $200 difference myself. So I call Caliber and say, "Do it all, the whole estimate, go ahead and do everything." They say, No. Apparently they have a corporate policy that if a car is declared a total loss, they won't do any work on it. So let's recap here: 1) My car is a total loss because the repairs exceed the value, NOT because the car is destroyed and, 2) they wrote an estimate to fix my car, and I want to do all of it, no exclusions, and they think that my car will be what after this? undriveable? do they have that little confidence in their own repairs? So I took it across the street to another body ship and they're replacing my door. So Caliber sends me an email asking me to write a review after they told me they weren't going to work on my car. . . go figure, right? read more

On 6/24/19 I had dropped my car off to Caliber Collision Center for a GEICO Auto Repair Express Appointment. My car was hit-and-run on the Passenger Side door-well and passenger side front fender. After the GEICO Estimate was ran, I was told that the car was a COSMETIC total loss and that I may keep the vehicle as it is still safe to drive. However, On 6/27/19 I received a message from Caliber and GEICO stating my vehicle will be reassembled as it arrived and ready for pick-up. This was not the case. I picked up my vehicle at 7PM on 6/27/19, and it was in a DETERIORATED and DAMAGED condition (Electronics no longer function, Engine makes a loud noise and stalls, passenger speakers no longer function), well beyond the original cosmetic damages (originally a scratch and fender dent), as well as none of these NEW damages appearing on the Vehicle Estimate and Evaluation by GEICO. This means the damage occurred inside the Shop AFTER the inspection and purely by the Technicians during reassembly. None of this was told to me upon pick-up. Since It was after-hours, there was no one to speak to regarding the damages. I called and notified the shop, and David Porter from GEICO Insurance. I called the shop today 6/28/19 and spoke with the Regional Manager, who raised his voice at me upon hearing the "accusation" and hung up on me. He will not return any calls. They claim I signed a waiver, but I have not, and they will not show proof when prompted. The techs working there when I picked up my car told each other in Spanish "I'll sign it when he [I] leaves", they did not know I was fluent. This is criminal. I was guaranteed a high quality INSPECTION and insurance claim through an ARX Certified GEICO Repair Shop, and the shop has damaged and vandalized my vehicle before returning it. It is now in a worse condition than when it had arrived, at no fault to my own, and the Shop refuses to do anything about this! They have seized all communication with me. I have contacted Montgomery County Police and Filed a complaint with the BBB. I am also in contact with my Lawyer who recommends I press charges. read more

I brought my car to this place on 10/23/2018 (because of they have Geico onsite), but I didn't know the nightmare started when the day I drop off. It was a minor car repair, it was estimated for 2 weeks, wait it for 10 days, I called back to check the status, it turns out, they told me they need Geico approve to addition repairs, it is going to take another week or so, I said okay, and they told me they will give me a call next day, keep me update. Next day, they didn't call, so I call back, speak the the person who was going to call me, so, I asked to speak to manager, I spoke to him for about 20 minutes and he told me that my car won't be ready until 11/14 to 11/16, I asked why it takes that long just for a minor repairs, he told me they are professional... and bah bah bah... I said, okay, but can you please get it done as soon as possible, he finally said will have it done by the end of 11/14, the manager also promised and guarantee that he will call me with update of my car.... a week past, no one call, so I call back to ask him the update, he said, there is nothing need to say, it still in process, before I hang up the phone, I ask Again, can please call me with an update. Yesterday (11/13), I called again, the person told me that my car is at assembly stage, will be ready tomorrow, which is today. I called this morning around 8:20 am, to check the status, (since when they say they will call and they never did) I ask to speak to manager, he told me that NO, your car won't be ready today, he also claimed that he did call me yesterday and left me a vioice message to let me know that my car won't be ready until tomorrow (11/15), I told him that I didn't get a call or message from him either yesterday or the Monday of 12th, I told him that I can pull out my phone record my t mobile ( while on the phone, I already put the record out) I confirm with him, he said he did with very rude tone and hang up. At this point, I am really really upset, so, I google the company headquarter info, contact their customer services, I told them what happen and they document it and also told me that they will have regional manager to contact me regarding the customer service issues. Approximately 9:10 am, regional manager called and apologized for poorly customer services, he told me that their computer will show the info for calling their customer ( he tried to proof that his staff did call), after another bah bah... he said he will go there this afternoon to discuss the matter with manager and check on my car and will call me back with status and finding. I wait it until 4:33pm I called, after one minutes, got disconnected, I called back again, left message, and he called me back around 5:10'pm, told me that my car will be ready tomorrow, I ask " Are you sure?" " Are you certain? " he said " Yes" ... I asked, if Geico will have Quality check befo Update: 11/15/2018 around 1:30 pm, I got a phone call, they told me car won't be ready today AGAIN!!!! Update: 11/16/2018 11:18 am got a call from Geico instead of Caliber, told me car is ready for pick up any time, when I got there at 2 pm to pick up my car, 1st, no paperwork done, 2nd.... try to locate my key... If you care for you car DON'T take it here. They call me saying my car needs parts that in the end didn't even need. Also when I go pick up my car the interior was cover in dirt. When I told them that it needs to be clean the guy looks at me and said that they don't do detail work. Umm hold on my car is brand new and was clean so it needs to be clean. Then tell me they don't have nothing to clean it. That other guy then told him to take it back and do the best they can. Communication also sucked! Said they would call and didn't even called sometimes. They act like it was a play car and didn't care what so all. I will not be taking any more cars to this play. I am deeply disappointed I repeatedly asked how they going to fix the bumper? They patched up my bumper and make it look like they fix it but look what happened on the picture. How many times in your life do you need collision repair, not many. Someone hit our car and left a note. Very thankful. State Farm towed our car to Caliber Collision on Gude Drive in Rockville, Md. We were in Florida. They took care of everything by phone and kept us informed the entire process. Our car is older, but we wanted a couple of dents taken out of it at our cost as well. Shawn gave us a fair estimate and we had the additional work done. My wife picket the car up 2 days ago and was very pleased with the work. We found this place to be very responsive to our needs and frankly a pleasure to deal with. I have read the other reviews people have left and some are great and some are not. My car was hit by a drunk driver while on the side of the street. I was so upset, I had just bought my car a few months before. The insurance they had was geico. I was concerned but used the shop they recommended. From my initial set up appointment to dropping off the car the staff was so helpful. They made the process so effortless. When I dropped off the car the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. I received a rental at the same location and was on my way. While they worked on my car I received text updates of the status of my car. When I picked up my car it was waiting out front for me all polished and complete.
