I've worked with Caliber in the past. When my wife's car was rear ended and we saw that Caliber was an option, we went there. Though there were some challenges with our car due to the actions of the previous owner, they found a solution and really fought to make sure the insurance company understood what needed to be done. The whole time they had the vehicle they kept me informed of their progress. Overall a good experience. The bumper looks like new, the paint blends well with the rest of the car. I gave it four stars instead of five simply because we have to return for a sticker/applique (that is more for looks that function). Would have been better to hold the car one more day, and give it back to me completely completed. But I really can't complain too much there. read more

Great communication. I received wonderful service from John. He was able to give me an estimated time of repair for my vehicle. I am moving soon and it doesn't look like they will be able to have it finished in time. I really appreciate that he allowed the customer to make an informed decision. I highly recommend bringing your car here and experiencing the honesty and sincerity of their team. read more

Went through the entire quote process with them. and have been waiting for 4 days for a reply. is that a business you want repairing your vehicle? think about that. can't be bothered to follow through on estimates and you want that laziness repairing a vehicle that you rely on? this is another unscrupulous auto repair business. not giving them your business is the only way you can weed out these slime ball companies. read more

I had an accident in May and was unable to schedule an appointment till July due to COVID19. I was sent to Caliber Collision in Punta Gorda on Harborview Rd. By USAA. I arrived for my appointment and was pleasantly greeted by the staff. John the adjuster/manager came out and took a look at my Jaguar and recommended that he try to buff out the scratches to avoid a claim to my insurance. John and his staff buffed out the scratches and washed my car at No charge and No claim to my insurance and the Jaguar looked great. This Caliber Collision has 5 star service and I would recommend them to anyone! read more

They wanted a $1500 deposit to provide an estimate because they could not open the hood. Took it to another repair place and they opened the hood in two minutes and provided an estimate less than the deposit. read more

My car was scratched by what seemed to be another vehicle. Big scratch on passenger front and rear doors. I contacted my insurance company and they preferred Caliber Collision. Everyone was welcoming and helping from beginning to completion! Johanna went above and beyond and helped me with a question I had asked when I dropped my car off. I had forgotten that I asked her and she helped me out with it when I picked my car up! Paint looks just like it did when car was brand new!! They text me often to inform me what was going on the whole time. I dropped my car off Monday and had it back Wednesday! The biggest plus is that my car was dirty and they washed it inside and out! Thank you caliber!!!! read more

Haven't had good customer service like this in a long time! They were very friendly and kept me posted. Walt made me feel better about a really messed up and inconvenient situation. Well I made an appointment, had to come in for an early drop off 7 am on Monday and Suzie would be my rep. so I did. I also was told if I needed a rental car to let them know. I told them yes I need a rental. The day I dropped my vehicle off, The place was locked and no lights were on. I stood outside and called them. They couldn't find my paperwork and no rental car was reserved. It was 7 am and I had to go to work,They couldn't get it together so I left and came back two days later. Talked to the brand spanking new manager, ended up Suzie had an emergency. !!!! I was fine with that but Freakin call me, I was her first appointment NOT EVEN A PHONE CALL !!! The job itself was fine, good work and nice paint job. They left me with an empty gas tank, in fact the gas light was on when I picked it up and there was/still is a terrible musty dirty garage smell in my vehicle, so bad I had to keep the windows opened. So Overall not too happy. They did a good job at keeping me informed of the progress even though it was automated but still. read more

My Dad accidentally rear-ended my 2007 Jeep Liberty in his driveway. His SUV cracked and dented my right rear bumper. Didn't want to submit a claim with my insurance company. Wanted to see if I could get the bumper replaced or fixed out-of-pocket instead. Made an appointment at Caliber Collision for an estimate. Was greeted by Service Advisor, Walter McBee. I explained to Walter what happened to my Jeep, he was quite sympathetic and understanding. He went to his office to write-up the quote; came back and explained in details the cost to either replace or fix my dented bumper. He could tell by my expression that I was not happy with the cost, so he immediately offered to pop-out the dent free of charge instead. I was so ecstatic and grateful that I didn't have to pay either the $1200 to replace my bumper or the $807 to fix the bumper. In all my years of car care service this was the best and top-notched customer service received. I will always remember how amicable, polite, and courtesy I was treated by Walter. Folks, if you need auto body repairs, I truly recommend that you go see Walter McBee at Caliber Collision Charlotte Harbor, FL. Thank you Walter. You're the best! read more

They don't know what they are doing. A small fender bender turned out to be a nightmare. The first time I went to pick up my car the fender was reinstalled crooked so I let Caliber Collision know that I wanted it to fit correctly, they treated me poorly and with a lot of bad attitude because I complained about their shoddy work. When went to pick up the car the second time I found that it pulled to the right, at first they tried to tell me it was like that before the accident but that wasn't true. They kept the car an additional six weeks and never fixed the steering problem. I took my car to another body shop and in one day the new shop found it had a bent control arm, the new body shop fixed all the problems in less than a week. This is a Geico body shop, they do the cheapest work possible with the most inept employees. Take your car anywhere but Caliber Collision, they can't bolt on a fender straight. read more

This place is terrible. I don't know how they are still in business. A job that should've took 3-4 days TOPS turned into 2+ weeks. Such a pain that I would never recommend this place even to my worst enemy. Save your money, your time, and your sanity and avoid this place and their nonsense. read more

Very honest and trustworthy. Minor work done for me over the years, major work done for my friend whose accident left her unable to drive due to head injury. The body work and paint repair made her 10 year old car look like new. I have always been treated with respect. They go above and beyond what is expected in the way of service. Estimates have been reasonable and work excellent! I'll be bringing my vintage car in soon for a paint "touch up". As a woman, I'm glad to have a body shop I can trust to be fair! read more
