As fate would have it, I took the car to the dealership for a recall and they discovered that one of the tires had a small bubble. I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to celebrate almost two years with the car by treating her to some new tires. I reached out to Chris who quoted me $1,200 (including manufacture warranty) for four thick profiled performance tires, which was $1,300 cheaper than the quote that I received from the dealer. Chris quickly placed the order for the tires and called me the next day to inform me that they had arrived. Since the establishment is generally very busy on the weekends, I decided to visit on a weekday in hopes for a quicker experience. Thankfully, there was only one car ahead of me when I arrived. Chris instructed me to pull the car into the shop and immediately began removing the tires (I'm always impressed by a hands-on owner). Less than 30 minutes later, the job was done and I was in the office checking out. As Chris implied, I can confirm that the ride quality of my car has significantly improved. This serves pretty much as proof that there was actually an adjustment and that it was done within spec of the car manufacturer. Since I was getting this job done for a friend it was very important to me to get the printed specs. I was told that the print out would be in the car and didn't think anything of it until I got on the freeway and wanted to take a look while sitting in traffic. There was no print out so I had to call back and ask about it. The awesome thing is that he said I could come back at some point to get the alignment redone again to get the readout. Really good guy to work with. Just bring an extra blanket for the waiting room because it's ice cold!
