Worst service ever! Called and asked for a quote and described the problem in detail - was told the service fee would be $15 (which is different than the advertised service fee of $10 on their website; http://locksmith-calgary247.ca/) and was told the cost of fixing the issue would be $45. I then agreed to schedule an appointment for the locksmith to come out and fix the problem at that price. They ended up being over 3 hours late to arrive and then tried to charge me $150 (no where near the quoted price) in the end. I asked the locksmith to wait while I called the main office to discuss why I was being charged almost $100 more than originally quoted and was met with them denying that they quoted me that price. I reminded them that they were more than three hours late (my time is worth something), and that their response to my several calls to inquire about their whereabouts has been less than stellar. The man on the phone told me he would call the locksmith immediately to see what could be done about the price; apparently his version of "immediately" is about 15 minutes later. The locksmith himself was great and ended up agreeing to a much more reasonable charge before he even received the phone call from Calgary Locksmith office to discuss the charges. Needless to say I will be contacting the contracted locksmith directly next time and will be skipping this dispatch service all together. The service is beyond brutal, and the consumer should be warned that they take advantage of the customer. read more
