My wife broke her arm "in two places" over the weekend (decided to take our children "skating"),…read moreand we were told to make an appointment with "West Tennessee Bone and Joint" Monday morning. When we called, we were immediately turned away for "not having insurance." (Our only choice for insurace through work comes with an "in network" $10,550 deductible and $1,300 "out of pocket" along with $150 co-pay, so "not a great choice" for insurance). So despite the fact we have "plenty of money," (we were more than willing to show bank statements), we have "plenty of income" (together we make about $110,600 annually) with "rocking credit scores" (750+ a.k.a. "we pay our bills"), "West Tennessee Bone and Joint" is basically punishing my wife, for refusing to pay for crap medical insurance, and instead, setting that money aside, just for such a medical "rainy day" event. So much for that Hippocratic Oath, eh?

Paid my bill hundred percent as we went along Next thing I know: I start receiving your September statement implying there's going to be more statements. Not giving any other information. Sending a bill with just the amount due and no other details. So I go to the clinic. Says they're open till 4:30. However they're closed at 4:10 The next morning I call to talk to billing I'm sorry she's out for lunch, Do you know when she will be back ... No So I call again to speak to office manager . She's at lunch . Do you know when she'll be back ... No This is ridiculous and she hung up the phone. Really, it's okay for your receptionist to hang up on a patient . So I decide I will go there and wait for the office manager to return . I walk up to the receptionist . Hi I'm here to speak to the office manager I already told you she's at lunch. ( with an attitude) OK I'll sit and wait . (Again with an attitude) That's fine you can wait. So I went and sat down in the waiting room next thing I know the receptionist says you know I don't do billing and you were awfully rude on the phone. I said you were rude hanging up , no you were really rude again she says. That's when I said don't talk to me anymore. I'll wait to speak to your office manager. Then I hear her(receptionist) talking to the ofc mgr about me. Well,, I've just never seen anything like this and more was said loud enough for me to hear. Totally unprofessional. Next thing I know I get a phone call from the office manager saying - My receptionist is upset. Do we need to get security there. Why is the manager now threatening me ? I'm sitting quietly waiting for the "manager" Not saying or doing anything. What the heck. I told the office manager that I don't need to be reprimanded by her that I am patiently waiting to talk to her. 40 minutes later, Dr. Arcuri comes flying out of the back into the reception area. Yelling at me who the hell do you think you are disturbing and getting the staff upset . Not even knowing what has taken place besides the over reaction of his staff. Wow really , I can see the drama starts at the top working it's way down. Unbelievably over reactioned to absolutely nothing besides trying to find out why I am being billed and for what.! With that kind of treatment I don't recommend anyone to go there. Never did meet with the office manager. If she can't handle the overreaction of a receptionist and a patient, questioning a bill, she's in the wrong business . Really how low can you go? Unbelievable.. very insulting.!! Very poor management and over reaction with Dr Arcuri also. I really recommend not threatening people. It can come back at you Mis Manager. What a joke you are as a "Manager " Lmbo, never seen anything like this. Wow Staff doesn't know when other staff are returning. Poor billing skills. Amount due only / no details. Threatening patients unnecessarily. Way over reacting . without knowing details. Updating business hours on any web sites. Obviously fueling the fire more. Upsetting Dr. Arcuri. So what management skills do you have? Because I sure don't see any !!!!! I see now I'm not the first to get that attitude from the receptionist. Not good !!! Who does she think she is when I'm sitting there waiting in the reception area being quiet and she keeps saying. You were rude on the phone after the second time. I told her to be quiet you're right. Now they know the FACTS !! I expect a letter of apology. Trust me. I won't be holding my breath. From what I've seen how this place operates . Now, the managers nephew is trying to call and FaceTime me in the middle of the night. Threatening me. How ghetto. Keeps texting - WYA - (where are you at?)/(no it's where you at?) Really, HOW DID HE GET MY Confidential information? Sounds like a HIPAA violation Mis Manager. What other confidential information was he able to get. I now need to check into this. I will be reporting this to HIPPA I have the messages and FT with calls from your nephew. Obtaining my personal info. Again you've gone way to far Mis Manager with your threats. More ghetto reaction.. wow

If you want to leave work early only to sit in the waiting room for an hour with no advance notice…read morethat they were seriously behind and no explanation and lots of attitude, then this is your podiatry clinic. If you want to receive a phone call from this office to tell you that your appointment for the next day has been cancelled so that they can close early and then refuse (with attitude) to give further explanation, then this is your podiatry clinic. Turns out they were going to upgrade their software and I'm pretty sure they knew more than 1 day ahead that this was going to happen. Their appointment hours are restrictive enough without further cutting into the available times at the last minute. Why did you make the appointment in the first place? And the care? Well after 2 appointments I can't say that I was any better. Perhaps 2 appointments is not enough to judge but there will not be a third at this clinic!
