Would give zero stars if possible. My husband had been a State Farm customer for 50 years, in FL…read moreand then here in AL. To consolidate, we moved some items from USAA to Beau Brooks Agency. In 2025, we had storm damage to the roof (wind & hail). Took 2 different companies to assess and provide damage report, which they never sent to us. State Farm SOP was to deny the roof claim up front. When questioned, they paid a structural engineering firm $7K to confirm for them that it was wear & tear over the years, even though there was photo evidence of the storm damage. The adjuster (very rude/mean lady) even said they saw the photos with the evidence and didn't care, claim is still denied. So instead of offering a long time customer something/anything (like the $7K - which instead they paid this to that engineering firm), they decided to double down and continue with the claim denial outright. How does this make any sense? Nick B, the agent we had been dealing with lied to us, was absolutely rude, and useless in trying to help resolve the situation. Even tried to connect with Beau Brooks himself, but never received a return call. We ended up having to cancel all policies and go back to USAA, in addition to coming out of pocket for a new roof. We canceled 2 vehicles, motorcycle, homeowners, liability umbrella, in total a drop in the bucket to them, but they obviously don't care about their customers at all, even a long time 50 year customer. Thought about the lawyer route but didn't want them in my life any longer than absolutely necessary. Writing this review to say BUYER BEWARE of this agency and any State Farm insurance. Best day was being able to call and tell them we needed to cancel everything. And again, they didn't care. Didn't ask why or if they could help. Shame on you State Farm and Beau Brooks Agency.

I've been a loyal State Farm customer for 34 years, and I can honestly say this is the worst…read moreexperience I've ever had with an agent or agency. This office is extremely unresponsive--calls frequently go unanswered, and voicemails are often ignored for days, if they're returned at all. I had a billing issue where payments were being misdirected to my previous agent, and despite multiple phone conversations, the problem was never resolved. When I finally decided to cancel my policies, the agent, Wendy, sarcastically thanked me for "wasting her time" trying to sort out the billing issue, then abruptly ended the call and refused further communication. I later visited the office in person with documentation to prove the billing error. Her staff struggled to review six months of payment history and ultimately dismissed me, saying I'd have to speak directly with Wendy--who wasn't even in the office during normal business hours. After waiting 10-15 minutes, she returned only to tell me she wouldn't discuss the issue further and threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. I was calm and simply asking for clarification about my payments. The accusation and threat were completely uncalled for. This agency has demonstrated a lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and in my experience, potentially unethical behavior. They accepted my payments and then claimed I hadn't paid. I strongly recommend avoiding this agency.

I was, key word there, WAS a LONG time State Farm client (28 years) till I moved to this area and…read morehad to deal with the agents in this office and specifically Caroline Hoover. She is very rude and treats you like you are beneath her. I have since cancelled all of my polices with State Farm and went with Allstate which so far is WAY better than State Farm. If you are moving to this area I definitely suggest that you find a different agent because there are only 3 people that work in this office and it seems like Ms. Hoover runs the show here if you know what I mean. The sad part is she is just an associate not even the actual agent which really speaks volumes for this office. Anyway beware, I learned the hard way hope no one else makes the mistake I did. Oh and if you are wondering why I just didn't switch agents well Allstate saved me QUITE a bit of money so I just decided to switch all together after getting treated so poorly and even calling corporate didn't help. ---BREAK---This all happened back in Oct 2015 and I wrote all of the above in a Google review at that time. Yesterday (13 Jan 2016) I received personal attacks from this agent and the associate through Facebook Messenger. To me this is kind of creepy that just because I leave my opinion of how I was treated that they stalk me out and send me messages threatening me with legal action and calling me names. So very very unprofessional. I highly recommend that you look else where for insurance as this agent might stalk you if you ever have any problems.
