The owner took the time to listen and tell me he would be on the lookout. You can spend a while just looking at all the items and if they don't have it, if it involves stones they might be able to make it. I found some items I never seen in other shops. Chakra heart set with heart shaped stones had to come home with me. Prices are fair and it is great to be supportive of a small business. They use to be in the local mall, but moved to a more easily found location.

I am now an almost expert thanks to Patti. She tested oils on her hand, wrist and fingers for me to smell. She explained in detail what I had to do, what I shouldn't do. No rushing me even when another customer needed her help, I was able to peruse the store, as I am known to do no matter what I am there for. Baby mama drama, legal trouble, help winning the lottery, etc. Some of them are printed on the jar but other signs are taped onto the jar (a little low-rent for my tastes). Room for improvement includes pricing all the candles. I picked one up without a price tag and it was $8 when I got to the register, when I saw many others priced around $6 or $7. It was a gift for a friend so not a big deal. Discount Candles is a really fun shop whether you believe the hullabaloo or not. They offer a wide variety of candles, incense and oils to choose from, and they've got a large (free!) parking lot to the right of the store for your convenience. They are also bringing back "Leaves" and "Cinnamon and Clove Buds", my favorite! They have all the candles available that you can get at a typical BBW, plus lots more.
