The cave has a map with different points to view. It didn't take super long to see it all but there are a lot of stairs involved going down then back up to come out. It's really beautiful how they display lights on all the stalagmites and stalactites. Halfway through there is a little presentation with music and a gondola and lights. It was so amazing and different than anything I've ever seen. I thought the cave would feel cold inside but it was actually just perfect temperature. It's not as big as some other caves in the U.S. but definitely worth a visit. After coming out of the caves there are some vendors selling items and pictures. They also have a little cafe with food, drinks and desserts. There are bathrooms but not many.

It is with absolutely no shame that I share I ate more ensaimadas during my 1-week trip to Spain…read morethan I've had in the last 10 years of my life. (As a Filipino, that's saying a lot.) Absolutely loved trying the ensaimadas from the island it was birthed from (Mallorca), and hands down my favorite one that I tried from both Barcelona and Mallorca were from Forn des Teatre. Funny, I actually didn't find this biz on yelp due to the low # of reviews; I was just attracted to the bakery due to its lovely HUGE ensaimada rolls on display! As it was morning, the outdoor cafe wasn't open but folks were just coming in to grab and go. By all means if you come here, please you MUST try the **ensaimada de crema** (might also be called "ensaimadeta")! It was different from others I've tried, it's not just a spiral of creme but it was all pooled into the center. I think I loved it so much because it was rich and had a thick, creamy texture with a nice orangey-zest taste to it. Absolutely loved it, I haven't tasted anything like it before!

The variety of sea…read morecreatures is quite different than what you see in your typically US aquarium, and there are lots of great additional activities for kids to make this a full day experience for the under 10 set. Water features, bouncy castles and an internal climbing structure with ball pit give everyone a much needed goofy time break at just the right points in the day. Having all of that actually makes you forget that they DON'T have the sea lions, seals, otters, etc that other larger aquariums often have...you honestly don't miss them. They also have these great screens everywhere that give you information on all of the inhabitants of the various tanks in a variety of languages. My kids were really interested in learning more about the individual fish, anemone and other tank inhabitants. It was really fun to read more about them and not an experience I've had at other aquariums. I have one caveat: the dudes taking the photos are RELENTLESS and super irritating. They hound you as you pass them en route to one of the restaurants in the area. Pro tip: if you have more than one kid and they tell you the full price, walk away. Like a flea market salesman, they'll lower the price so they get the sale. Very weird to see that happen in this environment, but I suppose if it works for folks selling umbrellas and towels at the beach, I guess the aquarium dudes couldn't help but take the technique on board. It's also SUPER crowded, even at 930, and so jam packed with strollers it's hard to navigate at times. All that said, it's a great day when you need a break from driving in Mallorca. Highly recommended.
