It took 8 months worth of curiosity from the time we booked to come here as one of the 'top 20…read morebeaches' to visit in Mallorca. Plus this worked perfectly because it's actually 10 minutes away by car from where we're staying in the town of Ses Salines. And do you know the pain it took to wait on a narrow as hell two-lane, two-way dirt road for 40 minutes in stand-still traffic just to park at the lot?
The Saturday we came, the line JUST to park, was horrendous and what added fuel to the fire was that most of the lot was inundated from a rainstorm the day prior. Do try and find what works for you in terms of time. For an August high peak season, we picked up the lingo and their ways- so we know now.
The beach here- as in all of Mallorca's coast, is pristine, €8 to park is for the entire day- but do ask, if you can head out and return with the same ticket(?). There's a small beach café(?)/kiosk selling alcohol drinks like Sangria, Mai Tai, etc, popsicles, and some fast food. Whether you want to work on your tan or enjoy the Mediterranean, this is it.
