Entered into contract with Arnold Law April 8th, 2026. My claim was for a serious and painful…read moremedical device implant that failed, requiting a second repeat of the entire procedure. Documentation of the device failure was noted by 2 attending surgeons upon implantation surgery. Demand was made of the device manufacturer for $1,000,000. I was told that they countered with $10,000 though I received nothing in writing. On August 8th, 2026 I was informed that taking my suit any further would not be worth the the attorney's effort and cost. Attorneys noted that this case seems to be winnable but cost excessive. My attorney said that the probable best course of action would be to see if he could negotiate a little higher, possibly to $50,000, but in any event we had an offer of $10,000 on the table. That he would keep me current and informed as to the progress. In the last 6 weeks I have messaged my contact person at Arnold Law at least 4 times asking for an update on their final negotiations. I'm sorry to report that I have been ignored completely. As I see it Arnold positioned themselves to hopefully grab a quick fee in negotiations but folded when the suit required effort and action. Then of course my request for an update have been ignored. Finally I have only received 2 pieces of actual correspondence during the entire time of our contract; their contract and the first settlement demand. Surely I should have received copies of counter-offers and other correspondence, you think? If you really want to hate attorneys, this is the place to go
