This place is just fine for a snack in the Istanbul airport. You're not going to find a ton of healthy options in the airport in general, so just resign to the fact that wherever you go, you'll be eating a lot of bread/carbs.
This place has decent pastries and I ate here twice over the course of several trips. Everything was fine, but nothing was super memorable for me. I think the best thing that I had here was shaped like a skinny croissant, with a chocolate filling (but almost cakey, it was not fudge or cream-like), covered in pistachios.
They also have sandwiches, savory pastries, pide (Turkish pizza), coffee, and sweets. You should be able to find something here to suit your taste. I liked this place better than the places outside of security / outside of the terminal. They have tables where you can sit, eat, relax, and wait for your flight.
Just a tip - I thought the pizza across the hall in the larger food court was better. But if you want something sweet, this is a good place! read more
