Wanted something different than the norm. Had seen this truck multiple times and finally stopped. Hands down best Cajun food in the area. My family is from Louisiana and it's hard to find this kinda food with this kind of flavor. I'll be back for sure.

Hot seafood gumbo is difficult to find in Fayetteville Arkansas. You've got the best view of Lake Fayetteville on a picnic table outside.

If we had one close to where we live.... I would have to work there just to keep from going broke. The woo pig sooie seasoning is to die for. Being as it was his first time and we weren't sure if he was going to liked it, so my son got the old bay seasoning. (It is hard to go wrong with Old Bay) He got the crab legs and he loved it, but he kept dipping his crab into my seasoning. We got there about 1.5 hours until close. We were seating quickly, but it took a little bit before we could get drinks. I was a little disappointed at first, but then when our waitress came by to take our drink order. She apologized and stated she was the only there that night. I never got her name, but for someone who waited the whole place by herself... she did phenomenal. We never had to ask for refills, and she was good at answering questions on how to crack the crab legs since we were newbies at it. She talked ball with my son bonding over both being catchers. Overall we loved it and wished we had one closer to us.

Pleasantly surprised how much we really enjoyed our meal. Seated immediately and waitress was…read morefriendly and very helpful in making us familiar with the menu options. Both of us got a boil so they put both in one bag. We chose garlic butter and was delicious on the lobster, crab legs and all the fixings. Ready to go back!

Our waiter took our orders right away, and our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The food was really good, and everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. Unfortunately, the service seemed to fall off after that. Our glasses were never refilled, and it was difficult to find a waiter when we needed something. I'm not sure what happened, because everything started out so well. Overall, we enjoyed the food and our time together, but the lack of attention from the waitstaff was disappointing.

They come "bone-in" (which is steaks) and filets. First they dropped off the best hush puppies my partner had ever had, and some good cole slaw, and hooked us up with some excellent tea (unsweet). The fish didn't disappoint. A five piece meal with fries (and the previously mentioned sides) was enough for a hungry person. Nothing fancy but definitely done well...which can, unfortunately, be hard to find. Ambience was simple, unadorned, unpretentious, and subordinate to the good chow. I didn't miss any of the frills. Service was great. Folks were friendly, fast, helpful, and either had great attitudes, or faked it well. Four stars shouldn't take anything away from how good it was. Four stars is well above acceptable, and marks a place I'd go out of my way for. If you want to know what a good, simple, catfish meal is supposed to taste like (or want to have some just like you remember it), this is the place for you...and me. See ya there.

The grits weren't really what I was expecting but the shrimp, ham, and potatoes were still worth it. The chicken and waffles were amazing. I'd come back for those alone. I had a Paloma since it was so early and my wife had her traditional bloody Maria. Of course in our traditional fashion we needed to have a second round where I went for my old fashioned and she had a margarita. Another amazing stop for us. We will be back.

Yes we're in at 6pm on a Friday but half the tables are empty and the bar from the photos is empty. So not a too busy issue. We didn't like how the salads, then appetizers, then food all delivered to the table within 3 minutes of each other. Not cool. The worst part of the dinner was those lousy bagged loaded French fries. Boo The rest of the meal was Good. The chef likes mushrooms as much as I do, on everything. My salisbury steak was generally cooked well but lacked the traditional gravy on top. Without the gravy it was just a cooked burger. My wife enjoyed her smothered chicken and I enjoyed the mushrooms that were on top of hers. And Mother enjoyed her catfish dinner. Her favorite part of the dish was the garlic bread. We both ordered happy hour drinks that we ended up paying full price for. The drinks were small but very tasty! My overall opinion was good, better than an OK 3 star. But it was nothing personally I want to go back for. Solid 4 star.

She surprised us with a meal that brought all the southern comfort to the table. We had ribs and chicken, mac & cheese, and an amazing flaming queso. She recommended topping it off with the mini chocolate mess, which took awhile to get all the gooey chocolate off the sides of the dish. The atmosphere was friendly and comfortable and I still can't say enough about the staff. We had several of the servers stop by our table and give us their advice on what we needed to see while we were visiting. Defiantly a place we would visit again. Thanks Anna, Will and all our new southern friends!
