Cairds Camping and Caravan Site accommodates up to 5 caravans (or 4 caravans and a camping arch) and up to 10 tents.
The campsite has 2 toilet/shower units and a separate toilet. Other facilities include electric hook-ups and a chemical/waste water disposal. We also have a small vegetable shop on site, which is open at weekends.
Dogs are allowed, but they must be kept on a lead.
For those who prefer glamping to camping, we have a camping arch on site that is available to rent. The camping arch consists of one room, which sleeps up to four people with a double bed and a double sofa bed. Its facilities include an ensuite shower and toilet, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, a two-ring electric hob, and a vegetable steamer. Cups, plates, bowls, cutlery, a table and chairs are all supplied. The camping arch also has a veranda, where you can sit and enjoy the fantastic views from the campsite. The campsite is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with far reaching views over the Sussex countryside. The surrounding area provides a range of activities and attractions for visitors, including walking, cycling, sailing, canoeing, and fishing at the Bewl Water Outdoor Centre. Golf courses at Dale Hill Golf Club in Ticehurst, and Lamberhurst Golf Club. Visit Battle Abbey, the site of the Battle of Hastings, or Bodiam, Hever, and Leeds castles.
