It was very busy and as we approached the entrance we were greeted with a very sweet and friendly hostess that recognized we were not local. She seated us promptly and gave us an English menu. The staff is fabulous as well....most spoke much better English then my French. We had the Plat du Jour, which was a normal serving of steak, French fries (real and crisp) and a salad. Serving size was perfect! Everything was perfect! Thank you to everyone in this fine establishment. You do a better job then 90% of the American restaurants. Merci. :)

The two employees that always worked there were so incredibly kind. They made excellent espresso, I would usually order just a espresso doppio ( espresso double) and it was always served with a nice 'garcon' chocolate. This was the best way to start my day. They had a nice welcoming interior with comfortable seating, fast and reliable wi-fi and the day's paper every day. They also made delicious lattes, smoothies, and sandwiches. I would often go here to study with coffee, and ended up staying for dinner and stayed productive. This was a hidden gem off of the beaten path, but close to the university and close enough to two main roads. The more people I shared this place with, the more I saw so many people finally understand what all the hype about french cafes was about. Good coffee, good environment, and good conversation. Many thanks to this cafe, for their coffee fueled me through even the hardest of school weeks. Merci a Vous et sante!

They roast and sell their own beans and the coffee smell is lovely. This is a city crammed full of places to eat and drink but it was only a few hours after breakfast and we really only wanted a drink, so we grabbed an on-street outside table under shade. The coffee was exquisite, complex and €3.4 for the least milky, least sweet cappuccino I've ever had. We got one sweet biscuit between us; it was a bit like a crisp ice cream cone. It was fine with coffee. The staff were helpful and courteous and their WiFi was fast. They also have toilet facilities.
