Je hebt Limburgse gastvrijheid, en Limburgse botte boersheid. Hier vind je vooral het laatste lijkt het (ook als je zelf Limburger bent.) Na wat gefoeter kon ik mijn bestelling doen in het nagenoeg lege, maar nog steeds gezellig ogende café. Dit terwijl mijn gezelschap nog steeds genegeerd werd. Uiteindelijk is het dan toch gelukt. Sneller leegdrinken dan normaal en op naar de laatste hindernis hier vandaan: een poging tot afrekenen. Maastricht does not have as much exposure to Yelp, so I actually had to look for a recommendation on another site. That is exactly why I am reviewing this restaurant. Yelpers need to know this place! I enjoyed a Smithwick's on tap. The beer was extremely cold, and the pint was a perfect pour! However, the biggest draw for me was the fish and chips. They are absolutely delicious! The fish is a rather large piece, done right in beer batter. It is also extremely flaky and I consider this a good thing! The pub is also known to be a good place to watch European football. The TVs are hooked up to sound and broadcast in HD. Whether you're looking for a good pint, good food or just to enjoy a football game, this is your place.
