Café Beluna comes to the rescue with its Italian food and half a dozen coffee drinks. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, but we opted for indoors. We were attended by a gentleman (possibly the owner) and he was impressive. He kept switching amongst German, Italian, and English, depending on who he was speaking to. I started with a cappuccino, my companion with a Coke. We then opted to split a pizza as I saw some people order it and it just looked amazing. Well, the size was decent. Not too small, not too big. Perfect for two who want dessert and to be able to walk around after. As for dessert, this is the real showstopper and the real reason I'm rating as highly as I am. I ordered an apple strudel, and point blank, it's the love of my life. I keep thinking and dreaming and remembering this strudel and it's going to be two months since I left Austria soon. My stomach weeps at the absence of this apple strudel. I'm dying to learn to make one, but still... I don't think it will compare. The food while delicious pales in comparison to their strudel. For lunch we had the bruschetta and gnocchi. It was exactly what I had been craving. We returned with friends in the evening and enjoyed the salmon, roasted rosemary potatoes, bolognese and pizza. Everyone enjoyed every bit! The best pizza I have had in a long time. The crust tasted good and was perfectly cooked. I have to mention the wait staff at lunch and dinner were excellent! Very helpful and I was impressed at the number of languages one of the young ladies spoke. They all seemed to enjoy working there. That made the atmosphere very pleasant.

I tried a few different bakeries, and must say that all of them are very good. It's rich but light, and none of them is over sweet. The owner is super friendly. The apres ski is great fun and although the same band (The Short and Curlies (??!)) have been there for years, the recipie is successful and from about 4pm you'll enter to a scene reminicent of something from the film Coyote Ugly, with attractive Scandanavians dancing on tables and attractive bar staff serving your drinks. The drinks prices are high but then then food and drink in the resort is pretty dear on the whole. Into the evening the pub retains its party atmosphere with more dancing on tables into the early hours you'll be glad to hear.
