I will however say this, it's not a place I am itching to return to :-) The decor is a bit dated and looks like some of the cafes you see in tourist filled piazzas of Italy. White table cloth, relatively expensive food and a dated crowd. The menu is huge and has tons of food on it. Their lunch card is quite reasonable and has a few interesting dishes. I had the Tartuffo for dessert and it was ok. Missing the intense chocolate I am used to, it tasted more like chocolate syrup in the middle. At €6.50 I was expecting a bit more. The coffee was ok and once again nothing special. All in all ok and, I will probably be back here as, some of my colleagues used to come here some years ago and like coming here. I found this nice Italian place (as luck would have it takes debit) coming out from the bank with ATMs that don't even have English translations. I don't know if the hunger contributed to it but that was the best spaghetti with garlic and olive oil (Who cares if I've never had it before. That shit was good). The service was great. There wasn't a maître d' but the bar is right up front so I asked the bar tender (spoke English so that's a plus) for a seat. He kindly had me seated right away. Waiters also spoke English. They were very helpful. Even gave me an English menu. This place is great.

We stopped by here on a Tuesday morning for some breakfast before heading out to do our touristy…read morethings. The service was friendly and the cafe was very nice. We enjoyed being able to take our food to the outside tables and eating there. The egg and tuna salad breads, pastries and coffees we had were all very good and satisfying. Overall it was a very good experience with reasonable prices.

The iced mokka is so good, I stir the whipped cream in and steal some of the mint leaves from my daughters drink and smash them in for a minty freshness. The strawberry matcha is just gorgeous withits distinctive layers. The staff are artists with the deisns on the cappuccino! Now for the yummy part - we had toast with berry marmalade and cream cheese, crab salad, and an artichoke and tuna. My youngest had a chocolate and plain crossaint. My personnel favorite was the crab salad. A must try if you go to munich!

Anyway, opted for a mushroom pizza (funghi, as it is on the menu) and it was honestly not what I expected! Their portions are huge and they were definitely generous on the mushroom. Loved that their pizzas had a bit of a weight and the crust wasn't nonexistent! Definitely made it easier to eat and added to its filling portion. Servers are nice, but there's no English menu so be prepared to pull up a translation page. Luckily, one of the servers who was working that day spoke English and helped us translate a bunch of the things. Vegetarian friendly! Not a ton of options, but just enough from each food category that makes it a decent place to eat.
