At 14h on a workday, the air was so thick with tobacco smoke I could barely see. You can't even get to the non-smoker area unless you walk through the clouds. Really, don't need that. There are better alternatives like Extrablatt or Mokka.

Auch wenn ich Heike Preuß das Cafe eigenwillig abgebe, ist es nicht so, wie es gerne verbreitet wird, dass es schließt(!), es ist ein Pächterwechsel und es wird Im Wasserturm auch in Zukunft weiterhin gastronomisch betrieben werden. Das Untergeschoss ist mit gemütlichen Sesseln ausgestattet und lädt zum Chillen ein, während sich der Raum in der ersten Etage auch für Feiern mit bis 20-25 Personen geeignet. The bathrooms were well stocked and clean, which is something I am sensitive about. Now comes the food. Fantastic!!! My bagette sandwich with turkey and pesto sauce was devine!!! The salad was also perfect and fresh with vinegarette dressing that hit the spot. The service was welcoming, the servers were really helpful and between our english and german were able to share some laughs. Definately coming back.

We stayed in a double room with two adults and two children and it didn't feel crowded. * Rooms were very clean * Old building was very nice * Breakfast was simple and cheap. It wasn't amazing but it was enough and a good spread. * Close to train station and several nice parks in the area Downsides: * The staff is only there for part of the day so often times there is no one one sight. This is not a problem because you can reach them easily by calling reception and the call gets forwarded. * Had a problem with the internet. In our room (which was on the end) the signal dropped really badly because the router was too far away. At some points we ended up sitting outside our door to get a consistently strong signal. This was really the only bad part of our experience. Overall: I would stay there again in a heart beat.
