A good steak in Germany is tough to find, let alone a great steak. Well, it's tough for this American, anyway.
This place serves aged beef. You can see it hanging in the restaurant (behind glass). Everything else is sold a la carte and your beef is served unseasoned. Seasonings are offered separately and include a homemade pesto, which is delicious.
The steaks weren't bad, but for the price, I expected more. Rib Eye ran about 36€ and the Filet roughly 32€.
The menu had a nice red wine selection, but the only wine I was interested in (Frankreich Syrah) was sold by the bottle. Our server brought a Portuguese wine (off menu) for me to try instead. It was okay.
Total damage was €. We may return to try the burgers.
