We were welcomed by Zadok, the proprietor of "Ett Rum För Resande" in beautiful Visby. It was our last day in Visby, a rainy one, and it was comforting to have a delicious cappuccino & homemade apple turnover while waiting out the storm. Zadok sat with us and shared travel stories of Sweden & Israel and even New York. It was truly a welcome "room for travelers." Will definitely visit again if we return, but I'm only allowed, as Zadok says, if I give Kate babies!

My husband and I were walking around town and found this business. When we went inside, an employee kindly greeted us and explained in some English some of the baked goods in the display case. We ordered three pastries by pointing at them, saying their color and location on the shelf, and saying their names. Unfortunately, the employee gave us one incorrect pastry. We did not point it out. We just ate what was given to us. The flavors were apple, lemon, and one wrong item with ice cream. We did enjoy eating them. The total price for these three pastries plus a soda was a reasonable 144 Krona or about $15 USD. Some indoor seating was available.

My husband and I were on a cruise vacation, and we discovered this restaurant while we were walking in the harbor. Unfortunately, only half of the display cases contained gelato, and the other half were roped off and completely empty (perhaps because it was September and no longer hot outside?). Therefore, the number of flavors was more medium-sized. I saw flavors such as cheesecake, pomegranate, meringue, melon, Oreo, strawberry, cappuccino, banana-chocolate, walnut, saffron, kiwi, whiskey, mango, Smurf, Hubba Bubba, and pineapple. I ordered the flavors of Turkish Baklava and the Popcorn and also a chocolate-ball thing (name?). The total price was 105 Swedish Krona, which is about $11 USD. An employee promptly and kindly served me. Some outdoor seating was available, so my husband and I ate outside. Unforatunately, the flavors of the gelatos were very subtle. I could not taste much baklava or popcorn at all, so I will give a neutral rating. I did see a group of tough-looking men nearby eating absolutely giant sundaes, and they seemed to be having a good time.
