The location itself is perfect -- minutes walk from the main plaza. The restaurant has a nice clean and modern feeling with both indoor and outdoor seating. The tapas are divine -- each one I tried was delightful -- the croquetas being the best I have had in Spain. Most recently, I ordered a hamburger, reasonably priced at 6 Euro, and hands down it was the best hamburger I have ever had outside the US. In fact, better than many I have had in the US. The service is excellent admist a culture that isnt sevice oriented. Each wait person I have met is kind, friendly, helpful, and has gone out of their way to make this blonde from Seattle feel right at home in Zaragoza -- one has wven gone as far as to google things for me to teach me about food words that were lost in translation. If you are in Zaragoza -- do yourself a favor and have a drink and dine at La Lola. How desperately I want to pack the restaurant and its staff into my suitcase and bring them all back to Seattle -- where I am quite certain it would be a dashing success! But enough about that. The motto of this place is "Good Mood Food" which was true. They had burgers, sandwich, salad and many other stuff kinda like American food but with some French stuff. They also had cafe, beer and ice cream. The service was excellent. The gentleman was by himself for awhile and then a lady came and then I think it was their son or could have been the owner also. But he then helped out cause right after us a lot of people came. Mind you that this place was pretty much the only thing open in the area. You would have to drive to the other little towns if you wanted McDonald's or so on. But we were fine since this was a few feet from our hotel. I ordered the cheeseburger the way I like it. It came with fries and a drink. Which was not bad for the price. My mom ordered a fish sandwich. And I also got the little girl a burger since that is what she knows and likes. It took awhile since there was a few of us ordering. But it was alright we just chatted up and soaked up the nice place of Lourdes. The food was great. The restaurant was clean and the service was excellent. They spoke good English.

Nevertheless, the sandwich itself was fantastic. There was a good balance between sweet and savory. Despite its flavorful sandwiches, there is plenty of room for improvement. There is no organization in ordering and picking up your food. It's whoever is the most aggressive who gets their order in first. They lack efficiency in how they run their business.
