One of the staff (the owner?) told us she is vegan herself, but it is not just a vegan cafe. Lots of options for vegetarians and meat eaters, too. The coffee options are delicious, but even more fun are the goodies. In addition to the typical array of German cakes (which are really super, by the way), this shop carries loads of homemade pralines and the local specialty - Rothenburger Schneeballen (snowballs), which is essentially a ball of fried pastry strips dipped in powdered sugar or chocolate. A great place to stop along the way There is also a hotel associated with this business, but we didn't stay overnight.
