This gelateria has a rainbow of flavors (& colors) that you can sample to your heart's content. The owner is super nice and funny. Location is only a few steps away from where the millionaires party (again I was told), but it's very laid back here. Love that it's away from the tourists, so you can enjoy your gelato "come fanno gli italiani". Some of the flavors I could not even prounounce... but they are all so delish. I tried about 8-10 flavors to make the final selection... and ended with nocciola & pistachio. Loved the outdoor seating on the promenade = great for people watching while you lick off the dripping gelato off the cup. That's attractive, right?!

I like that it has real flavor and that it doesn't have the fake colors that my kids seem drawn to in other gelateria's. I also like that the gelato display is kept clean and that they have an open display (some of the other artisanal places like Grom are going towards closed displays but I like the see what I'm getting).
