We made a stop and was wide eyed upon entering, as everything behind the glass counters looked delicious. They had everything from kolaches, to gorgeous desserts, open faced sandwiches, to salads and meat croquettes. We tried the Prague ham with egg, half cheese half Prague ham/pepperoni, and the caviar chlebicky. Each open face sandwich was delicious. Every item was carefully placed on each slice of bread. A layer of potato salad topped with a slice of cucumber and tomato, half boiled egg, and thin layer of Prague ham. The ham was light and thin, and not overly salted as you would find in a supermarket. So easy and delicious to eat, that you can't just have one. I tried the caviar oblene chlebicky which had two different types of caviar on it. It was nice, light, and not salty either. Good cheap eats. One star off as the ladies behind the counter were not very friendly.

Pretty big, wide open space cafe in the Narodni Museum. The friends and I stopped in on a cold day…read morefor some tea. The cafe was pretty crowded with people working on laptops and miscellaneous other projects, and of course lots of kids around. There weren't as many chairs as there were tables, probably because they were moved around by the bigger groups already there. For the size of the space they could definitely use more tables and chairs. There were a couple of waiters running around between tables but service was so slow (read, nonexistent for us) that after waiting about 15 minutes we just went to the counter and ordered our tea. The chai was delicious - nicely spiced with cinnamon on top. It's a good spot to spend unlimited time working on wi-fi but not sure I would stop in just to eat.

Staff is very friendly and bilingual. Service and quick and they are on top of things here. I got a latte and it was delicious. I also tried a panini (mozz, pesto and tomato). All the ingredients were fresh and it was delicious. The panini and the latte only cost 120 crowns! Only real downfall here was the smoking that is allowed inside. Not even just the guests but also the staff...and while "working." Sadly since the place is small you can't get away from it and easily end up smelling like smoke after leaving. Overall though I really enjoyed the atmosphere here, friendly environment and delicious coffee and fresh snacks. I would go back if I wasn't so disgusted by smoking!
