My hype for this place was so high! Unfortunately my experience wasn't good at all. At first glance the place looked like it needed a big tide up, the exposition of the pastries and all the sweets was a mess. Not too many choices at that time (Sunday late morning) and they didn't even look that inviting. Also the server wasn't the best, it seemed like she was annoyed and was not happy to answer a simple question such as "what is this?"...not a good way to interact with a customer. Additionally she never made eye contact and never smiled. To my opinion if the staff is not happy, the customer will never be happy. My overall experience is quite negative, was not happy about the taste (all pastries seemed not that fresh) but most of all, I left with that kind of feeling that will never make me go back to this place again, not in the near future for sure! I'm so disappointed because I'm a big supporter of a local business but this one needs a lot of work, cleanup, better staff, better exposition and more pastry choices! Seemed like the settle on that Cake Star trophy instead of keep it going and improve! Please make some changes. read more
