My local contact took us around to show the city and was in search of non smoking cafe where we could enjoy local sweets. A couple of place we stopped in was too smoky for us, but no worries this city doesn't lack in cafe.. When we walked in, my local contact was happy to let me know that they have Klangenfurter! A cake made for Klangenfurt. She told me to check out other cakes but what else could I have beside the local's original cake? Order your cake/sweets and drinks at the counter and they will bring to your table. Staff didn't speak English but she understood the name of food and drinks. I ordered my new favorite latte macchiato to go with the original cake. So the cake was chocolate and pistachio. Not sure what makes this cake so unique and original to Klangenfurt nonetheless I enjoyed every bite of them. Can't go wrong with illy coffee and latte macchiato was what I expected to be. They also serve alcohol and my business partner enjoyed his Irish coffee. Perfect for a cold day. Server wears a really cute outfit. Very Austrian outfit. We enjoyed sweets and drinks, good ambiance. Good place to hangout in the afternoon.
