Pretty good espresso, especially for a train station outlet. This isn't even close to tasting like authentic Italian coffee, but it's decent and perfect to grab before hopping on a train.
This location is inside the busy Zurich train station, and the line was quite long early on a Saturday morning. The baristas moved it along quickly, though, and everyone working there seemed to understand the importance of being timely so customers could catch their trains.
Since the milk in Switzerland is some of the best in the world, I got a cappuccino. My espresso was carefully pulled and served hot and fresh. I had no complaints.
This is a good stop if you are looking for an espresso-based beverage. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but Caffe Spettacolo is solid. read more
