I was unaware that places like these existed in Madrid! The cool thing about living in a city is…read morethat you can find little places like these! This place is very unique as it has board games in order to pass the time. There is a very good variety of games from headbands all the way to cards! My friends and I spent a pretty decent amount of time in here. You could say that time flies when you're having fun! There are servers in which help take your order. It is a little more hectic once it's later and sometimes getting service is a bit of a hassle and requieres some patience. It is not a place to come hungry and it's more so to come and grab a little snack with your friends. There is wifi in the building and once it came time to pay, the did accept credit cards. Although, I would like to say that their batidos (Milkshakes) are bomb and pretty well worth the price they are at. I ordered one that is called after eight, and if you are a fan of mint chocolate then you should try it out! I shared a slice of cheesecake with a friend, and it was a little too bland for my taste (Mind you i'm a big fan of cheesecake) and would have preferred to have gotten something else. With the orders came a little plate of trail mix. If you are looking for something more on the adventurous side there is a coffee that contains ice cream! (A double winner if you ask me) Overall, it was a great place to spend some time with friends, and I will recommend it to those who want to have a game night outside of their home!

And offering menu del dia for 12 euros but 1.20 extra if on the terrazzo (patio seating) which is typical in Madrid. We sat outside as it was a nice warm day with a good breeze. Service was helpful with some English words from our server. He was a bit slow in service but was nice. I had all day so I didn't care that things were more slow than I am used to. Food was generic and likely played more to the western palate. Bread to start, wine, nice cool gazpacho soup, chicken thigh and drumstick in what seemed like a soy sauce with roasted potatoes. Dessert is coffee or a choice of chocolate cake, carrot cake or banana cake. Overall ok place but I was hoping for more local flavours.
So, found this lovely bar cafe when I got lost with my friend. Everything was wonderful, the…read moreservice, the ambiance and the carrot cake was to die for. But one tiny complaint, though. Ordered cafe con leche and colacao, the cups were too small for a cafe con leche, and even too small for colacao that usually had like, 200 ml of milk. The cups were more appropriate for cafe corto or macchiato. Hope they'll change it in near future.
