I would recommend. Note: if you purchase something that is a Togo item, you were not welcome to sit on the patio and eat it. When I asked the male worker to please remove some dishes from a previous group of customer, he looked at me and said with an attitude sure but you shouldn't be sitting here because your items are a to go item. So initially he said you can stay, but made us feel like we were not welcomed yet privileged he would allow us to stay. By the way there was plenty of tables and only two families of customers in the entire patio outside area. What a way to not have customers not want to come back. Reminds me of the Starbucks incident in the US were two black men were arrested for sitting at a Starbucks and not ordering anything.

The map on Yelp shows the 'Blue Bar' at Peniscola Castle, behind the Maritime Museum, which always has the beer but opens when they feel like it. Last time I visited it was closed but a guy walking past had the keys and opened up for us! Hooray. The main bar and brewery was in the centre of Peniscola. The bar is currently closed and due to open in March 2023 so I'm told. The brewery has now relocated out of town and can be seen from the AP7. Their flagship beer is IPA 7.2%. They do a stout about 6.0%. Their lager is called Lola, at 4.8%, and everyone seems to like that one. They also do speciality beers:- Rice, Eco, Pilsner, Wheat, Artichoke and others.

A short walk down the sea front promenade and one street in we came upon this little eatery on the corner. Greeted by a welcoming smile, our hostess was also our server. We sat in the covered and enclosed outside eating area and she brought us menus and gave us a couple minutes. I opted for the double bacon burger, with a Fanta Limon, our drinks appeared promptly and within about ten to twelve minutes my burger was delivered and its a work of art. This is a very large burger loaded with lettuce, tomato, pickles and thin sliced red onions on a beautiful roll, along with a side of freshly made fries. Served medium rare, the burger was full flavored and quite tasty, the fries also freshly made and very good. A solid burger joint, that also serves coffee and day and has a full bar. An extensive menu that includes specialty salads, wraps and plates. Friendly fast service, good food and long hours make this place a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. If you're in the mood for a good burger this place is a must spot. Well worth the effort. 4 Stars 01053
