We stayed at the Schlossalm apartments & not only was the price right, the place was nice & clean…read more The bed, pillows & comforters were all comfy & the sleep couch was perfect for my young kids. The owner was incredibly nice. We had a washer in the apartment but wouldn't work but the owner washed all of our clothes until the washer could be fixed. We had a beautiful view of the river & mountains. The apartment was only a 5 minute walk into the centre of town. The apartment is right next to an Italian restaurant but unfortunately the owners were on vacation so we didn't get to try it out but the menu looked amazing. The apartments are located in the centre of Bad Hofgastein in the valley of the national park "Hohe Tauern". The recently renovated apartements are ideal for families. In a 5-minute walk you can reach the Schlossalmbahn cable car and the Alpentherme spa with fitness and sauna. 300 Metres away: Shops, restaurants, Alpentherme, Gasteiner Achenpromenade, mini golf, tennis, ice skating rink and the bus station. You can reach within a maximum of 10 km: National Park, golf course, Lake, Gasteiner Heilstollen and the train station. Appartement Schlossalm in Bad Hofgastein House is an ideal base for hikers or non hikers like myself!
