Here in the Mole West restaurant you take place on the pier right at the lakeside, and you can feel that your pace will become slower and slower. It is totally relaxing here at this popular lake, the Neusiedler See, one of Europe's largest steppe lakes which is at its deepest point less than 2 meters (6 feet) deep.
We got a Moroccan Stew, a beef in mint herb sauce and saffron rice, as well as Spaghetti Bolognese with parmesan. Both were delicious albeit the Moroccan Stew tasted a little peculiar, but since it was my first Moroccan dish, I guess it had to be that way.
The staff is friendly at this touristy place but the prices are in the upper midrange segment. So for your money you get much lakeside and atmosphere.
