Someone mentioned Le Pain Quotidien, which I've been to often in the U.S. (I think only in the LA area) so figured this would be perfect. It was really close to my apartment too, so I'm surprised I hadn't already stumbled into it. In the U.S., the food at Le Pain is okay, but really overpriced. Here was the same (cheap by U.S. standards, but expensive for BA). It was just okay. the dressing was really oily, the chicken tasted processed, but it was a salad and filling. I might come back once a month when I'm desperate, but it's really not great.
