My hotel recommended this spot and it was worthwhile. I asked the lady of the house whether I can get fish filet because I can't stand fish bones. She said of course, she would filet the fish herself. So I took a seat at a table. I ordered the tuna carpaccio with lemon sauce and capers as a starter. And butt with potato as main accompanied with a great half bottle of French rose. And a bottle of plain water.
Before I got the starter the kitchen send some canapés. The first one was a mousse of fish with mayonnaise and herbs accompanied with bread. What a delight. The second canapé was a small brioche filled with ham. Great! And the starter hasn't even arrived!
The tuna carpaccio was an event. I ate it with great pleasure with the wonderful bread. Then came the butt filet with baked potatoes. I ate it with great joy. But in hindsight I should have chosen vegetables as after the main course I had no space for a dessert. So I finished the meal with a Sanbucca, which was accompanied by a selection of cookies.
What a wonderful evening at mice spot on the canal of Cesenatico. I will definitively return. read more
