The last two of which apparently made with ingredients from the garden just outside. The decoration is quite outdated but very traditional. Only cash is accepted for payment and it seems no card payment is planned in the future either. Also unfortunate: the toilets here were dirty.

A great cafe in Schliersee. We happened to see it on our walk around the lake. Close to the train…read morestation this cafe is located a stones throw from the lake and looks very inviting. Plenty of outdoor seating and lots of space indoors as well. As it was a sunny day it was packed when we arrived but, managed to get outdoor seating in the sun. The view from the cafe is spectacular and it was very nice. They have a nice menu including some good choices for vegetarians. There is a cake counter inside with a huge selection of cakes and they have many Bavarian desserts like Kaiserschmarrn, Milch Reis, Dampfnudl and Rohrnudl and so on. I had the Seelachsfilet with potato salad and it was very good. We shared a Rohrnudl for dessert with vanilla sauce and it was also quite ok. Service was very good and quick. Our waitress was very patient and made some recommendations as well. All in all a great experience and I would happily come back here again. It's good value for money and the food, ambience and service is good. This is also my 1700th review on Yelp. Onto the next 100 ;-))

At these prices I expect more and I suspect they will happily survive without my reviews ;-) Cake was good and freshly made and coffee was also quite ok.
