Two Michelin dining in Berlin with a dessert dining concept which happens to be the only Michelin…read moredessert dining restaurant in the world. I was really impressed with the food and service. And overall have no complaints for the most part. Although I liked some dishes more than others, same goes for the drink pairing, the dishes I loved were mind blowing to me. Particularly the grapefruit, buttercream, lettuce cup, cacao and crisp, parsley root, and different chocolate covered things at the end were particularly interesting and impressive. The other courses were enjoyable but I didn't love them. Overall, I did feel like I was eating a bunch of desserts that just had different savory elements and such, but that wasn't a bad thing. And the pairings that went with my favorite dishes worked really well and I usually don't get a drink pairing because I feel that it could be too much, but they staggered them well. The caviar popsicle add on is a must. I mean where else can you eat a caviar popsicle. Honestly the flavor was really weird and it was kind of hard to eat because it was melting pretty quickly. But my friend got the wine pairing for the popsicle and it actually worked really well. I didn't really like the flavor of the wine by itself but with the caviar, it magically tasted good. They have the wine pairing that they pour between courses and then you could enjoy them with the courses that don't have a drink pairing, but honestly I think that would all be too much unless you have a giant stomach or can just drink a lot. We got a sparkling wine to start, and then I had a glass of wine to have between the pairings and then tea at the end and that was all very very filling. The teas were both from Greece and tasted so so good. Also, I loved how they showed us the kitchen at the end and we were able to see how they make the chocolate and taste some of it. I thought that was a super cool detail. Also if the bathroom is occupied you can go through the kitchen and use the other one which was nice and again cool to see the kitchen some more. We sat at the counter so we could see in, but it was a different experience being in there. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that the dining took over 4 hours. The first two hours were going strong and then in the third hour I was starting to feel fatigued. However, that last hour was really hard and I just wanted to rest. Especially because we were sitting at the counter and the chairs don't have a back to them. I did feel like overall the courses were paced nicely except at the end with all the chocolate stuff and that took a bit longer than what I would have liked. Overall the service was good, but I've had better at other Michelin restaurants. And the other thing is that it was super expensive and I'm not sure if the price is justifiable when comparing it to other restaurants that are at the same or similar level. Also, not sure if the pricing is correct for the price of the ingredients honestly. However, the experience was really cool and I enjoyed everything a lot. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience that I can recommend but I don't necessarily know if I would do it again.

I was extremely excited to come to Berlin for this experience and it did not disappoint at all! The…read moreplace is a little hidden and you need to ring the doorbell to go inside. It's a small yet cozy place and if you're seated at the bar, you can see all the action in the kitchen. Got multiple courses for the experience, plus alongside the additional 40 EUR caviar popsicle and wine pairing, which is separate from the dessert drinks they pair with some of the dishes. Definitely a hefty price for the dessert dining experience with the included extras, but I personally think it was worth it. All the dishes were so tasty with its own charm, and not everything was sweet; some dishes had a nice saltiness so don't think that it's all just sweets and sugar. The dishes were presented nicely and explained thoroughly, and the wine pairings actually worked so well! The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and even got to see the kitchen itself during part of the experience. Such a good experience and would recommend for both locals and visitors in the Berlin area, just expect to be willing to spend a lot for this experience!
