Finland drinks a LOT of coffee. They drink more coffee per capita than any other country in the…read moreworld. The fact that Starbucks is representing Finnish coffee culture is kinda sad. There's much better coffee houses in Helsinki, making much better coffee. I've always thought that SBUX coffee was overly roasted, burned, and acidic.
On the plus side, this is an expansive Starbucks in the Vantaa Airport. The place is big- there's a huge seating area that's been branded with SBUX posters and their type of furniture, it has no real connection with the coffee shop itself. Travelers have (and should have) no problem setting up camp on their comfortable easy chairs and sofas. There's outlets to charge your gadgets, and the place is well lit and safe. It's located right by the place where people end up once they've cleared customs, and where you can get your VAT refunded.
