My son and niece opted for the buffet for £8.95 each and they loved it.I had a Ceylonese korma and it was lovely with just the right amount of meat and sauce. It is a small, cosy restaurant and the owner was very courteous and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant highly and will be going back again soon. It is not licensed so if you want alcohol you can take your own :)

I ordered a meal for one which for just under £6.00 (not including delivery which I'm sure was around the £2.50 mark) was amazing value. I got my choice of chicken noodle soup or chicken mushroom soup, a choice of starters (there was a few to pick from, I went for the spring rolls) and a choice of mains (that covered everything from curries to chow mein) that were served with either rice or chips. Oh, and a free portion of prawn crackers was thrown in which is never a bad thing. I ordered the chicken noodle soup, spring rolls and chicken curry with fried rice. Delivery took about 45 minutes but as it was the weekend, that is definitely expected (It arrived just at the point I was moving into the hangry zone). The soup was delicious, as were the spring rolls (there were 5 or 6, I can't quite remember) and the prawn crackers were really tasty. The curry was served in a long tray whilst the rice came in a smaller tray. The curry was nice; plenty of chicken, onions and the sauce was of the perfect consistency. It wasn't the best curry I have ever tasted but it was a nice meal and I was pleased with my meal. I ordered a 2 litre bottle of juice as well which was £2.50 but that's pretty standard if you're ordering juice from a take away!

For me, visiting a McDonald's is never exactly a proud moment. It usually means I'm a) drunk, b)…read morehungover or c) suffering a momentary lapse of self control and ruining my most recent attempts to be healthy. We've all been there, I'm sure. Thing is, McDonald's actually is good for those things and if that's what you're after then there's no shame in that. This branch is especially handy in that it's open 24 hours. It also has a drive-thru attached, although I've never used that facility so I can't properly comment on it. In spite of being a small, drive-thru branch they still do all of the major offers (so if you get one of those vouchers for a big mac and fries for £1.99 then go ahead, they'll accept it) and they do all the standard UK menu items, including the specials as they come and go. Food-wise it's the same as any other McDonald's. They can alter your items if you have any particular requirements and they almost always have a few Big Macs and McChicken Sandwiches ready to go as you walk in. If not, they're still pretty quick. Less popular items, such as specials, salads and deli sandwiches take a bit longer, but I'm pretty sure that's true everywhere. You can expect really long queues around dinner time and long-ish queues at lunch time over the weekends. I've only ever once failed to get a seat, though. Plus, the staff are quick enough and clearing the queue and if there's a wait for fries (or if you've ordered something less popular) they'll tell you to go take a seat and will bring it to you when it's ready. The toilets are kept pretty clean and the staff do a decent job of clearing the tables whenever they get chance. The WiFi is free too, so I could even imagine people working here during quieter hours. One very important thing though - don't get the coffee. It's the worst I've ever tasted. Just don't.

Not much to look at from the outside, no neon flashing signs to light up the community, just good quick food served hot. Owner one of the best guys about, my wife was in hospital for 7 weeks and anytime I went in he asked for her by name, one of the first things she asked for when she got out was a chicken and sweetcorn soup, (and I love cooking) told them this and they were so helpful asking about what she can or can't eat this was reassuring. Happy to adjust the dish with no hassle. Good food, good service and nice people. Worth a visit on you way home. Closed Mondays (bummer)

This is the new guy on the main street. First thing you notice is how spotless the place is on entering. The staff looking busy cleaning or cooking. The choice of pizzas is immense as is indian food. Every pizza ive had has tasted fresh and has been lovely. They dont hold back with the toppings. They boast using fresh ingredients rather than frozen stuff. Their chicken korma is to die for, as is their curry. I take a nan bread rather than rice, and its always heated to perfection. They have a "chippy" section as well, and the food is nice. Although the only let down seem to be the chips themselves. They can be quite mushy and have had them undercooked at one point. Although I was given fresh chips and a refund. The staff are friendly and you can have a joke with them while you are waiting on your meal. I wouldve gave five stars but for their chips. Can get a bit busy at pub kicking out time, but this is to be expected.
