The woman running this little café could not have been nicer. She spoke next to no English but was as friendly, and helpful as could be. She even gave our daughter a little bag of fruit trolls. The café had great Coffee, and really good looking Pastry items. Overall a great place to stop while exploring the mid-evil city of Dinklesbuhl.

They had a wedding party there at the same time, so we were still impressed they had enough staff to serve us. The restaurant itself is very spacious and has a few rooms for privacy of large groups. There is also bar seating and smaller table seating for couples. The service is friendly with staff speaking English and Deutsche. The red wine is delicious, the Ribeye is very juicy and the Chili Con Carne was surprisingly spicy and the best I've ever had. We would eat here again. We did not have any dessert, but it did look good. Seating is comfortable and not crammed. Decorations are pretty for Christmas time and it is open late.
