Well this certainly is a diamond in the rough !!! Fact is, I'm not a country girl and will never be however with cafes like this around, I could possibly be convinced .... Ummmm nahhhh unlikely.
This cafe though was a real treat to find in amongst a row of fairly dilapidated stores you often come across in country towns. It has a modern fit out and includes this sweet outdoor area out the back, closely resembling cafes in places like Erskineville. Impressive right? That's what I thought. There's a huge selection of sandwiches, bagels and wraps to choose from, in addition to the token country quiche plus some amazing soups. I ended up with a sweet potato and leek soup which was perfect for a 13c winter day although slightly heavy given the state of my stomach right now (think 7-8 month pregnant bump minus the actual pregnancy ha) !!! Regardless, if you're ever traveling through and you're famished, this place will gladly help out. read more
