The joy of spaghetti ice cream is that it does indeed look like a bowl of Italian spaghetti but is really a small pile of whipped cream that is covered in ice cream that has been extruded to look like spaghetti. It is served with finely shredded almonds that looks like parmesan cheese with strawberry syrup that looks like tomato sauce. Served with a circular crunchy biscuit. One of sixteen locations found in the area, humble beginnings followed by expansion after World War Two bearing similarities to the back-story of Frankfurt's Eifler and Huck, it is inside a comfortably large space that diners will found tables and chairs spread forward from the counter, employees not fluent in English nonetheless friendly and even apologetic that they had already sold out of Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte. The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. I especially enjoyed the Black Forest cake. While it is tricky to find - it's a 5-10 minute drive from the main town of Lossburg and about 15 miles south of Freudenstadt - the drive through Sternick and the tiny roads of Unterbraendi was scenic and enjoyable. We hope to return in the future.
