You know what I like? Colorful menus & large gaps between the tables surrounding me so we don't all have to agree on one conversation topic. This place delivers! The menu was even in English as well as German & yes I know that makes me a damn snobby tourist but it was so nice just chilling out on their huge deck, in the summer beeze not having to worry about understanding the menu correctly. I did order in German though, so that's okay right? Speaking of the menu, this place is all over the map. They have American, Greek, Chinese, Indian, British, German (only like one dish though), Italian & Spanish dishes, even pizza or does that count as Italian? Probably. Oh & they also serve breakfast which turns into brunch on sundays.
Anyway I uhh borrowed a summer specials menu so I can give ya a few price checks as the summer specials also seem to be part of the standard menu.
Sunset salad: € 5.90
Pizza Caesar: € 9.90
Colorado Steak: € 16.80
After all that food talk, if you're feeling thirsty, do not fret! I'm pretty sure the beverage selection is well over four pages which probably has something to do with the fact that they stay open till 2am on the weekend. They have everything from coffee to some summer drink called "Hugo" which is € 4.90 in case you were wondering...I know you were.
I guess the only negative thing about this place, besides not being able to stick with just only continent food wise, is the location. It's right next to Förde Park (shopping center) which makes traffic particularly heavy & all I wanna hear when I'm on a deck is the wind...& possibly the ocean, that's a bit of wishful thinking though I will own up to that.
Oh bonus info: the only reason I wanted to try this place out is because it looks A LOT like the cheesecake factory when you go inside & I do think they're aiming for something of that feel, I mean they even have porch swings at the entrance which isn't very German or even European. read more
